Chapter 22

D's eye sight felt heavy and she dozed side to side until someone splashed ice cold water all over her. She coughed, struggled to stay still, but couldn't stop screaming either. The water was way too cold to tolerate.

The guards split up making way for their highness. D slowly tried to open her eyes in the direction of sound of foot steps. Though her visions were blurry, she could make out someone kneeling down in front of her. A little smile arises to loud laughter in the room.

"Will you stop laughing at this? This is not right. Betraying Yoongi like this." D said

"Awww... Look at you, still worried for that heartless King and his kingdom. How sad that he can't understand a woman's heart." Ye Jin uttered.

"Your are right." D accepted
"He failed to understand you."
"No, wait! Did he even try to understand you? I doubt that. He believed you."
"Isn't that enough? If he did try understanding you, you would have been caught long back and you didn't dared to do this." D said

Ye Jin began to laugh again.
"Do you think I planned all these later? Your King didn't find me, I came to him with this whole big package of plan. The only thing that changed is your entry and your abduction. Jungkook was my first priority. After all he is his sweet little younger brother. I mean, he is everyone's favorite. And using him as hostage would have been the best thing."

"I'm happy that you chose me." D uttered as she kept trying to clear her vision.

"What difference does this make? Either you or Jungkook, Yoongi will still come here." He Jin grinned.

"Y-OO-N-GI will not come looking for me. There's nothing like you think. So, stop dreaming." D said angrily.

Ye Jin began to laugh louder. It took time to calm herself down, but D couldn't figure out what was funny.

"You are right, actually. There is nothing like what I think. But..but Yoongi has something towards you. Maybe he does likes you. You too do don't you?"

D didn't respond to Ye Jin this time.

"But, I wouldn't let that happen. That's why, I purposely kept alcohol in place of water. You being a fool, drank it down and spilled the Truth. If I didn't do this, maybe Yoongi would have kept you there for long. What to do, I don't have patience these days." Ye Jin said

"How awful of you."
"Still... you didn't succeed."

Ye Jin looked confused."what do you mean?"

" He knew that I'm the same girl he was looking for from the beginning. He fooled me, but unknowingly, he fooled you too."
"I feel bad that you chose me thinking that you will succeed. Nobody will come looking for me, you are just wasting your time."

Hearing this,Ye Jin grabs D by her hair tightly. Though D wanted to use her hand, she couldn't move them, since both of her hands were chained and she was kneeling all the time.

Ye Jin gritted her teeth as she warned her in whisper.
"I don't care if I loose. But, you will not be living any longer. Better help me succeed." Saying so she pushed her back. D almost collapsed on the floor.

On the high lands , The King and Taehyung's Army watched the beautiful Kingdom which threatened them with the king's beloved.

"Hoseok and Seokjin's Army reached the spot. Jimin and Yoonji's army succeeded too. Should we call it our time now?" Taehyung asked

The King smirked. "Let the battle begin."

Queen Yin waited for Yoongi and his Army to show up. D was tied right in the front, clearly visible to everyone walking in from the main gate. Near by to her, queen Ye Jin's seat was placed.
