"Hyung? What is it all I'm listening? We have a guest here?" Tae Hyung asked.
The king remained silent and smiled as he looked towards Tae Hyung.
"Who is she?"
Another silence.
The door of the main palace opens up and the physician walks in with her head down in respect.
"My lord." She began.
"She is recovering from her wounds and soon will be able to walk without support."The King stared at her for an instant even though she wasn't looking at him.
"Did she speak to you?" The King asked.
Tae Hyung stood there listening to their conversation.
The physician didn't get what he was asking her, so the King had to repeat it again with slight increase in his tone.
"Did you both speak?"
"Yes my Lord. I guided her with the medications and acknowledged the depth of her wound. That's all we did." She replied.
The King wasn't satisfied and tries to pull out the words she left unspoken.
"Did she ask about anything else? Anything other than her wounds?"
"No my Lord." The physician replied.
"You know you can't lie to me. And if you do..." Before the King could complete his sentence, the physician speaks up.
"No no, my Lord, I wouldn't do such things."
"How dare you interupt his Majesty's words?" Tae Hyung yelled at her.
"I'm extremely sorry. I shouldn't have done that." The physician replied apologetically.
"Fine fine. No explanation needed. You can go now." The king ordered.
As soon as the physician walks out, Tae Hyung curiously questions his brother.
"Are you doubting your own physician?"
"I'm not doubting her. I'm reminding her limits. Sometimes people forget the bond between them and me and I should remind them in my own way." The King replied.
"Warn? I don't get you. What do you mean?" Tae Hyung questioned again.
"You know we don't have anyone to visit us. And this new guest is not among our family. She is an outsider and we don't have to build any special bond with her. Once she gets fine. Her wish will be granted." The King stopped and asked. "Do you understand?"
Tae Hyung nodded and remained silent.
************************************It was mid afternoon. D was still locked inside her room all alone. She began to starve but was helpless. The guards wouldn't let her out or if they let her out, she wouldn't be able to walk.
Just as she thought of getting some sleep, she hears a knock on the door. She feared thinking it would be the King, but then she was pressurized to reply. "Come in"
The door opened and a guy in royal clothes walked in. It wasn't the King, this guy was someone whom she haven't met before.
"Can I take a seat?" He asked softly, but before she could reply, he takes his seat.
"I'm concerned about your injured foot. How is it now? Better?"
"I think so." She replied.
"I see. You must be hungry." He gestures the servants to place the tray on her table and asks them to leave.
