I sat beside Nobara under the shade of the tree.

"When did you get so close with Inumaki-senpai?" She asked

"Hmm? Did we? I mean, we were like this before," I answered.

*ping* 

I opened my phone and read a message from dad.

Gojo: Where's my lovely daughter at? I'll give you something! 

Y/N: training field, under the big tree to be exact :>

Gojo: okay! I'll be there in a minute.

I closed my phone and saw the others walking in our direction.

"Nobara, Y/N, let's go grab something to drink," Panda-senpai said.

I told them I wouldn't be able to join them. I showed them the recent message so that I won't explain anymore.

"Okay, we'll be back shortly," Maki-senpai said while the others waved at me.

I watched them walk away. My phone received another message.

Inumaki: what drink do you want to have?

Y/N: I want banana milk, please~

Inumaki: lol u r like a baby

Y/N: what, no :<

I took a deep breath when dad suddenly appeared in front of me. My eyes twinkled because he brought my guitar! I forgot to bring it with me when I moved here. I reached for it, but dad grabbed my wrist gently and started inspecting it.

"What? It's clean, okay? I didn't do anything again," I said while pouting.

"I'm sorry. You know I'm worried about you, right?" He said and handed me a small bottle containing Benzodiazepines. I heard him say, 'just to be sure.'

He also gave me my guitar, finally!

"Now, sing for me, please? It's been a while since I heard you sing!"

"Okay, okay! But just one song."

I started strumming my guitar.

'Another Taylor Swift's song, huh?' I heard him say to himself before taking out his phone to take a video.

I just chuckled and started singing.

Yes, this is a song dedicated to you, dad. Not just some random music. I remember standing in front of my parents' grave when I was five when you appeared beside me, asking me "Do you want to live with me?" You don't know how much your words made me happy that I smiled and cling in your legs instantly.

I finished singing and look at him, wiping his eyes.

"Wait! You're crying!!!" I screamed while laughing.

I saw the group approaching us. Good thing I already finished singing; I'm getting shy.

"I'll be gone for a while, okay? I have a mission. If you feel sad, you know you can always call me. I'll be there for you instantly," He said

I nodded at him and said, "Thank you. Thank you for saving me back then."

I saw Yuji and Nobara running in our direction. 

Nobara shouted, "Sing for us too! That's unfair! Let us hear your voice too!" 

The others agreed. 

"Mmm, no, I'm too tired," I replied while secretly putting the bottle of medicine in my pocket. 

"Some other time," I added.

"Well then, take care, my cute students. I'll be gone for a while. Make sure to look after my daughter," Dad said, and he disappeared instantly.

"Come on, that's so unfair, Y/N!" Yuji said
"Right!" Megumi added
"Shake shake!" Toge-senpai joined them. 

Maki-senpai and Panda-senpai nodded too.

"Next time, I promise! I'm too tired to sing another song."
