Months later...

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to youuu~" we all sang together.

I was holding the cake in front of Toge. We all barged in his room a while ago.

"Happy birthday! Make a wish!" I said excitedly.

He shook his head while laughing. All of us made an alibi this morning that we need to go somewhere or do something so we can't celebrate with him. I hope we surprised him.

After a while, he closed his eyes. I stared at him. He looks so handsome no matter what he does. After opening his eyes, he blew the candle.

"Thank you, guys," he said while smiling.

We all settled down in his mini living room. The boys carried the other foods that we bought a while ago.

Everyone started giving their gifts and such. Toge continued saying thanks to everyone. He looks so happy, and I couldn't ask for more.

"Wait, I'll be back," I told him.

I didn't wait for his response and immediately went out. I went back to my room to get Ayumi. I told Toge earlier this morning that I need to go somewhere, but I didn't tell him about Ayumi.

"Baby, sorry for keeping you wait," I told Ayumi.

"No, mommy. It's okay," she said while smiling.

"Are you excited?" I asked her.

She nodded enthusiastically.

"I want to see Daddy. I hope he will be surprised!" She exclaimed.

"Of course! Let's go?" I said while holding her hand.

The others didn't know about this too. So I think everyone will be shocked because I know how much they missed her.

I opened Toge's door. Everyone was looking in the other direction, so they haven't noticed us yet.

We walked silently, and when we were already at Toge's back, I tapped his shoulder, trying to get his attention.

His eyes widened when he saw Ayumi.

"Happy birthday, Daddy!" Ayumi exclaimed.

Toge kneeled and carried Ayumi before standing up again.

"Thank you, baby. I missed you," Toge replied and kissed Ayumi on her cheeks.

Ayumi giggled and hugged Toge. They caught the attention of the others.

"Omg Ayumi, I missed you!" Nobara shouted from the others side of the room.

"Hi, Auntie Nobara!" She replied while waving.

The others also greeted her enthusiastically.

After a while, they went back to what they are doing. Ayumi went to play with Nobara and Yuji.

I sat beside Toge, who's still smiling while looking at our daughter.

"Are you happy?" I asked him.

He looked at me then nodded.

"Very much, my love. Thank you," he said and placed a smack on my lips.

My eyes widened because of the sudden kiss. I look around, and when I saw that no one was looking, I sighed.

"I'm glad that you're happy. You deserve everything, really," I whispered to him.

We were sitting on the corner, a little bit away from the others, when Ayumi came back to us. She sat between Toge and me and held both of our hands.

"Mommy, I have a question," she suddenly said.

"What is it, baby?"

"You know, I noticed that almost everyone in our class has siblings. And daddy has big sis Chiaki too. I'm quite curious if how do babies were made," she said, and her brows furrowed.

My cheeks started heating because of the unexpected situation.

"Ayumi, you're too young for that kind of thing," I answered her.

"I'm a big girl now. I'm already six! Come on, mommy. Answer me," she said proudly.

I sighed and didn't know what to do. I glanced at Toge, who was holding his laugh.

"I think your daddy can answer you," I said to redirect Ayumi's attention.

Ayumi looked at him, expecting a proper answer.

"Uh— I.. Uhm... If a couple loves each other, they will be gifted and have their baby," he tried to explain.

Ayumi nodded slowly. It's like she's saying that she got what Toge is saying.

"Daddy, you love mommy, right?" She asked.

Oh no, I don't like where this conversation is going.

"Of course, baby," Toge answered.

He then looked at me while grinning.

"I want a baby sister or baby brother too!" Ayumi exclaimed while clapping her hands.

"But it's not that easy, baby," I interrupted.

"Why?" She asked innocently.

"It would take a very long time," I explained.

"Hm? Really? It's okay. I'm willing to wait," she answered.

"Don't worry, Ayumi. Daddy and mommy will try, okay?" Toge said again.

He was still looking at me while smiling, trying to tease me. He was like this ever since the incident from months ago happened.

"Yey! And I forgot to say that I'll sleep in Auntie Nobara's room tonight. She said she has lots of stories to tell me."

I sighed before nodding. I thought I would be able to sleep with my daughter tonight.

It was just 9 in the evening when everyone decided to call it a night since some of them have missions tomorrow. They started leaving the room.

Ayumi kissed me and Toge good night before going with Nobara.

I helped my boyfriend clean the mess that we all made. After a while, I was about to exit the door to go back to my room when he suddenly pulled me back.

He immediately closed and locked his door then pinned me behind it.

"Where are you going?" He whispered to my ears.

He was so close!

"Uhm... to my room?" I answered unsurely.

"No, baby. You're going to sleep here tonight."
