Y/N's POV

Months later...

I was awakened because someone keeps knocking on my door. I glanced at the clock beside my bed and saw that it was just 2 in the morning. Who could it be?

I sighed before opening my door. There, I saw Toge rubbing his eyes while his right hand is holding a pillow.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, pulling him inside my room.

I closed my door and led him to my bed. He looks so sad and about to cry.

"Baby, what happened?" I asked again.

"I had a nightmare. I... I lost you," he answered.

I chuckled then help him lay down on the bed. After that, I went to lay beside him.

"It's just a dream, okay? See? I'm here," I assured, hugging him tightly.

He covered us with a blanket and pulled me closer. Toge placed kisses on my forehead.

"I don't know what I will do if that became real," he whispered in a somber tone.

"Shhh. It's okay. I won't go anywhere. I promise," I said, trying to calm him down.

I put my hands on his hair, brushing it gently using my fingers while whispering some sweet phrases to him to assure him that everything is going to be alright.

"Baby, go back to sleep. It's still early," I spoke again.

He didn't speak. Instead, he groaned and continued snuggling into me.

I sighed then continued patting his back gently. After a while, his breathing became calm, indicating that he was already sleeping.

I woke up again around 6 in the morning. We don't have classes or training today since we, the second-years, will be having our mission.

Toge was still asleep, so I got up from the bed cautiously, afraid that I'll wake him up.

I started preparing for the mission. After a while, when I am done changing, I prepared him some breakfast to eat when he's already up. I also left him a note, sticking it on my computer screen placed on the table beside my bed together with the food.

3rd Person POV

Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, and Y/N went inside an abandoned building. Shivers went down their spine after sensing a high level of cursed energy from different parts of the building.

Y/N started breathing heavily when she sensed familiar cursed energy not from far away. It was the same feeling that day when her parents died.

Nobara quickly noticed it and glanced at Y/N.

"Y/N, calm down," Nobara said and held Y/N's hand.

The other two, Megumi and Yuji, wanted to do the same, but they chose not to. Instead, they observed the surroundings, preparing in case that someone suddenly attacks.

"The one from the north, I'll handle it. I will immediately back you up after," Y/N said furiously.

"No! We are a team! Don't act alone!" Megumi exclaimed.

Y/N looked at her friends then smiled.

"I will be back. Don't worry. Take care, okay? I will finish this instantly," she answered.
