"I said, get out!"

He didn't listen to me. He tried reaching for me again.

"Y/N, I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean it. Please, stop crying," he pleaded.

I am feeling a different kinds of emotions all at once. Pain, sadness, betrayal, I don't even know anymore. I don't want to listen to him.

"You're right. I need space. Please, get out," I said, still crying while pushing him.

As soon as he was out of my room, I slammed my door and sat behind it. I just sat there, crying, for God knows how long.

After a while, I calmed down. I stood up, grabbing my wallet, and went outside of my room.

I didn't know what I was thinking, but I found myself in front of Jujutsu Tech. I might get scolded later for not asking permission, but I don't care anymore.

I rode a taxi, and an hour later, I am already in a memorial park. I smiled bitterly while walking until I reached my parents' grave.

I sat in front of it, hugging my knees and resting my chin on top of it.

"Hi," I greeted, but my voice broke because of the sob trying to escape.

I closed my eyes, trying to remember their faces, but I can't. I can't remember how they look like. All I can remember is their screams from that day.

"Why? Why did you leave me alone? I should have died with the both of you back then, so why? Why can't I move on? I want the pain to stop, please. I don't want to suffer anymore."

I chuckled for a bit, still crying. Why am I expecting an answer? I am alone here. I don't have anyone.

Maybe opening up to people is a wrong choice. I didn't know loving someone will hurt like this. I should've stayed the way I am. I should've stayed quiet and aloof to people.

I stayed there for a while when the rain started to pour. I continued sitting there, not minding the cold rain.

I had enough of all of these. I just want to disappear. After a while, I stood up and started walking away. I am all drenched because of the rain, so I doubt that they will let me ride a taxi.

It was already night when I reached Jujutsu Tech. The rain already stopped. I had to walk through the cafeteria to go to my room.

I saw everyone eating. The Kyoto students are still here. I just glanced at them and started walking again. I heard them calling my name, but I never looked back.

3rd Person POV

/Cafeteria/

"I wonder what happened to Y/N," Yuji said all of a sudden.

"Mai, what did you do?" Noritoshi asked, looking directly at the girl.

"Why are you blaming me? It's not like I was the one who did that. I just told her that I found out about her parents' death!" She explained.

Noritoshi, who was like a brother to Y/N, slammed his hand to the table.

"Don't you ever bring up about her parents, not in front of her! And above all times, why now? It is her parents' death anniversary!"

Everyone fell silent. It was their first time seeing the composed Noritoshi get mad.

"I knew it. Y/N will never do something to hurt all of us," Megumi commented.

"Y/N is the kindest person I know. But she's been suffering all alone. I hope all of you will treat her better," Noritoshi started.

No one spoke, so he continued.

"She had enough of all of these. The higher-ups are pressuring her ever since she was little because she is the heir of Gojo-san. Everyone was telling her what she should do, how she should act. She started training at a very young age. She felt the need to do everything perfectly. She needs to ace all her exams. The higher-ups keep telling her to improve in all aspects."

Everyone was shocked. This was the first time that they will hear about this. They thought Y/N was okay because she is always smiling.

"I even saw Y/N one time when we are little. She was sitting behind their house, putting cuts on her skin, but she's not crying. She was just seven back then. I asked her why she is doing that. She said that feeling pain is her only way to make her feel alive. And seeing blood makes her realize that she is a human too, and not a robot."

Everyone was silent, trying to process the information they found out. Guilt crept in their faces, especially to Toge. Suddenly, they heard someone entered the cafeteria. It was Y/N who was drenched because of the rain.

She just glanced at them, showing no emotions, and started walking again. They tried calling her, but she acted like she never heard them.

In an instant, all the Tokyo students are standing up and started following her.

"Mai, I hope that this will be the last time," Noritoshi spoke once again.
