After a while, they stopped teasing Toge-senpai and me. We continued eating while telling stories.

It feels so nice having them around. I hope that we will all stay like this forever. I'm really glad that I met them.

"Are you okay?" Toge-senpai whispered to me.

He must have noticed that I became silent all of a sudden. I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Hmm, I'm just happy looking at all of you," I answered.

He pulled me closer to him, then kissed the temple of my head.

"We are happy that you're one of us," he said.

Oh my God, I wanna cry. I am so lucky to have him, to have all of them.

It was already midnight when we finished eating. They decided to sleep in my room.

"I'll bring this down to the cafeteria," I said while holding the used plates and other utensils.

"I'll help you," Toge-senpai said before carrying other things.

My classmates and 2 upperclassmen started cleaning the mess we made, so I started walking my way to the cafeteria.

When we finally reached the cafeteria, my mind was debating whether I will wash the dishes or not.

"Do you wanna go for a walk?" Toge-senpai asked.

I looked at him while pointing to the dishes.

"How about this? Should I wash it?" I asked.

He sighed, then gently pulled me outside.

"You're too kind," he said.

We started walking around the campus. Wow, the campus looks so peaceful. I pulled Toge-senpai under the big tree.

"Let's sit here," I said.

Silence embraced the both of us for some minutes. I looked at the sky and saw how beautiful it was.

"I wonder if my parents are watching over me right now. Are they proud of me?" I murmured to myself while raising my hand, acting like I'm reaching for the stars.

Toge-senpai did the same thing, then held my hand that was in the air.

"I'm sure that they are so proud of you. They have a wonderful daughter," he said.

Tears fell in my eyes while memories came rushing through my mind.

"I was five when my parents died," I started speaking.

Toge-senpai didn't say anything, so I continued talking.

"They died in front of me. I saw how the cursed spirit killed them. It was my first time seeing one. I don't know what to do back then. I was so young," I said.

He pulled me closer and hugged me.

"I didn't know what happened after that. I woke up and saw Shoko-sensei. Then she brought me to my parents' grave. I stood there blaming myself for everything. I could've saved them. Then Gojo-sensei came. Asking me if I want to live with him. He said that he would teach me everything to defeat curses." I continued explaining.

I didn't know what came into my mind. It feels like I've been carrying this all along with me. And telling it to someone will lessen the weight in my heart.

"Shhh, I'm so proud of you. You're so strong and kind," Toge-senpai said.

He gently caresses my back to comfort me.

"That's why I'm so happy that I met everyone. Because you guys gave me a reason to keep living." I whispered.

"We are always here for you. I won't leave you. I love you, Y/N," I heard him say.

I felt my eyelids getting heavier. Just before I let sleep took over me, I replied to him with a very sleepy voice.

"I love you."
