Nightmares (Klaus x Reader)

I run as fast as I can away from the vile person chasing me. He's faster. He catches up with me almost immediately. His grimy hand grabs my arm and I scream. He raises his knife over his head and....

I wake up and shriek, my heart still pounding. Klaus, still awake with a book and a flashlight, jumps in shock.

"What's wrong, baby?" He asks, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me close to him.

"I-I'm sorry... I had a nightmare," I apologize.

He sighs and kisses the top of my head, gently rubbing my shivering arms. "You don't need to say sorry, Y/N. It's all okay."

I snuggle closer to him and listen to the calming sound of his breathing. My heart slows to a comfortable pace and he kisses my head again.

"It was just a dream, honey. Go back to sleep," He whispers soothingly.

I nod and crawl back under the blanket. He snuggles behind me and wraps his arms around my waist, giving my shoulder and neck sweet kisses until I fall asleep.
