My Dreams Always Seem Real

I have no idea, when it occurs,

So sudden I’m right there, in a blur.

See the people I acquaint with, send a wave,

Meet my girl and take her, out for a time.

Then I lean in to kiss her and hold her tight,

But then she just fades away and I realize what’s going on.

My dreams always seem so real.

It’s really no big deal,

Until I see my world disappear.

My dreams always seem so real.

I wonder feeling surreal,

Anxiously attempting to turn things around.

My dreams always seem so real.

Sometimes I take her out for fun,

Laughter and good times, have just begun.

Time elapses, in the place of my domain,

New memories happen, things I’ve gained.

All the thoughts burst into pieces as the world spins wild,

They flutter away so quickly and then you can’t remember.

My dreams always seem so real.

It’s something I can’t conceal,

As I try to grab the pieces.

No way to figure out, what has just took place,

Forgetting everything I once held.

My dreams always seem so real.

My dreams always seem so real.

I wish I could record my dreams so I can keep the good times, discard the bad ones.

The closer I am to you then fade away, fade away.

My dreams always seem so real, dreams unmask and they reveal.

My dreams always seem so real, dreams unmask and they reveal.

My dreams always seem so real.

It’s something I can’t conceal,

As I try to grab the pieces.

My dreams always seem so real.

I’m tired of this ordeal,

Just wish I could get a break.

My dreams always seem so real.
