You had just stepped into the wing of the building that you are in charge of when  Hohimi instantly runs up to you. "(Y/n), the person in room 1263 needs your help now.  It's urgent." The moment she finishes talking, you bolt off across the wing.

Once you get to the hallway which room 1263 is in,  you unlock the door as fast as you possibly can. Your eyes scan the room to see an all too familiar figure sitting on the floor with their head down.

But when they tilt their head up to look at you, chills are sent down your spine. "Been awhile, hasn't it?"

You instantly shoot up in bed. "Oh thank God that that was a dream.  Last I checked,  room 1263 is currently empty. Hohimi would've told me if it isn't a while ago." You say into the darkness.

You look over to your side to  look at the time. "5:02 AM".  It's still a little bit early for you, but you don't want to go back to sleep. Not after that dream.

'What was that dream anyway? Who was that figure and why were they so familiar?' You think to yourself.  At the time,  you can't remember what they look like but you do remember that they were really... familiar.

You try to think of their appearance, but you just can't. It was a dream and you hardly ever remember your dreams. Then why do you remember everything about this one, except for the figure's face?

You lay down in your bed and just look up at the ceiling. You try and think about the oldest memory you can remember,  but somehow, your thoughts always come back to the dream you just had. After a few minutes eventually,  you end up drifting asleep again.

You wake up to the sound of your alarm.  You turn it off and head downstairs to make yourself some breakfast. Thankfully,  you  don't make it hot to the point of it burning the tip of your tongue.

After you have finished eating,  you get a call from Hohimi. "Hello?" You say.  She quickly clears her throat.  "Yes, hey. (Y/n) there's a slight problem with the sinks by the cafeteria, and we don't think that we can fix it super soon. As you already know,  breakfast is served at seven o'clock sharp. We  already asked Tsuki if her father could do anything to help the situation. Turns out that her dad lives somewhere in Iceland."

It always surprises you how calm Hohimi in all situations. "Have you called a plumber yet?" You suggest. You hear chatter between her and some other staff.  "No, we haven't thought of that yet. Thanks." She says right before she hangs up.

This wasn't the first time something like that happened. Just the other day,  Hohimi was told that the sink in the children's wing wouldn't shut off.  All she had to do was turn the handle to the right more.

You sigh. "They need to work on not depending on me as much. Five calls a day is starting to get a little bit  old"

You and  Fuyumi were playing with baby Natsuo and for some odd reason, Touya had been more distant. You found that really strange. You never had a younger sibling, so you wondered in it was "jus a boy thing"  and shook it off.

"Touyaaaa  come play with usssss. " Fuyumi said as she sprawled her limbs out in a star shape. As she did,  Natsuo smacked her forehead with his tiny hand.

Touya then walked over and sat in front of his little brother.  You could feel how tence the energy was.  You knew that Fuyumi could feel it too. The only one who didn't was of course,  Natsuo.

To your relief, The tence energy, soon turned into a playful one. The four of you played games that even Natsuo could play too for what felt like hours.

Eventually, the four of you began to nap right on the floor. After a few minutes of silence, Rei then stepped into the room to see why it had gotten so quiet.  Her heart just melted at the sight.

You could safely say that those were "the good old days".

Not that this is related to the story or anything,  but any time I type or write the word "into" I remember a teacher that I had back in third grade who told me that 'into' is spelled like 'In to' and that the show that I watched that taught me that it was 'I-n-t-o' with no spaces between 'in' and 'to' was a wrong.
Anyway,  you know what probably doesn't teach you the wrong way to spell and tell you that it's the right way?  The new story I'm working on! I'm working really hard to make sure that that one's just as good,  if not, better than this one. Go check it out. It should be under "Stories by Itzducky" in my bio. The next update will be the last time I mention that.
See yall in two weeks!
