Chapter 17

You look at Murasaki. She's in a state of shock. You don't blame her ether. Of course, you left out the part where you go looking for Touya because that's a completely different story on it's own. "Is that true? That the moment you turned a blind eye, was when he left?" Murasaki asks. You nod, feeling that if you such as say another word, you'd burst into tears.

The rest of the morning was rather quiet. Well, until Shiro and Ao came downstairs. "And what's the deal with fake pockets on girl's jeans? Why have pockets on there if you can't put stuff in there?" Shiro asks his little brother. "Yeah? We don't even get fake pockets on our jeans and we can already tell that it's a horrible idea." Ao responds.

You slightly laugh at their conversation. The moment the boys entered the room, Murasaki almost immediately cheers up. "Ao, Shii! Wanna play ball later?!" Murasaki asks them.

"Yeah! It's a good idea, isn't it, Shii?" Ao responds to his sister. "Yup. I'd like a snack first though. " Shiro says. Murasaki looks around the room in a confused way. "But, I just got done with breakfast? You want a snack this early?"

"We woke you up at noon. " "We would've woken you up earlier if momma didn't tell us to let you sleep." They told her. Murasaki looked at the two in complete shock. "Wha-? How long did I sleep?!"

Ao and Shiro look at each other before they look back at Murasaki. "About twelve hours. If not more." Shiro tells her. Ao nods in agreement. Mursaki looked at Shiro, then Ao. "Wow. You listened to momma for once I'm impressed. " Murasaki says to them.

The two boys look at each other, then at Murasaki, and finally at you. "So are we going to do something today?" You ask them. Murasaki jumps up from her seat. "Can visit grammy?!" Murasaki asks you.

You thought about it for a moment. 'Well, Shiro did say that he wanted to visit her yesterday. And we aren't busy today.' You think to yourself. "I don't see why not!" You tell the trio. The moment you said that Murasaki bolts upstairs to get ready.

'Aaaand she forgot to put her plate away again.' You thought to yourself.

"Natsu, you forgot to put your dishes away again! "
"Haha sucker you can't make me!!"

Secods later Touya ran after Natsuo and yo head a giant Thud right outside the door.
You turned the corner and saw that Touya had tackled poor Natsuo To the ground.

"Anybody who doesn't put their dishes away will be at the mercy of I, Touya Todoroki, and will suffer. "
You could safly say that you had never laughed so hard in your life.

You chuckle at the memory. As you set the dishes down by the sink your phone starts to buzz in your pocket. You check the screen to see that Hohimi is calling you. "Hey, Hohimi what's up? " You ask her. "Just thought I let you know that we found out that this gang who calls themselves the "League Of Villains" tried to work with stain." She tells you. "Oh, so the interagatetion went well?" You ask her. She remains silent for a few seconds before saying "Yeah, for the most part. He wouldn't spill anything else though. We tried but, he wouldn't say. "

You nod even though you know that she won't be able to see that you are. "Alright, good work. League Of Villains, we'll be keeping an eye out for anyone who claims to be in that." You tell her. "Okay, goodbye (Y/n)." Hohimi says before hanging up.

"Allrightie I'm ready to go!" Murasaki tells you before grabbing your hand and walking the two of you to the door. After you two get your shoes on you head out the door. Shiro and Ao later join you.

"Momma, can you tell us a story?" Shiro asks you. "Okay, so once quite a long time ago..."

"Hey (Y/n), the last day of school's comming up soon."
"Really? But it feels like it just began? Done so soon?
You and Touya were on your way home from school when somehow, the topic of the last day of school popped up.
"Yeah, I know ever since you came along the days seem to just fly by."
You ruffled his mostly white hair.
"Yeah right. "
"No, I'm serious! Before you came along each day felt like ten years! And I'm not even ten yet!"
You laughed at how he could be so serious.
"Well, you do you. I ain't going to stop you. "
That time you both shared a laugh.
"I'm glad I met you. You're nice.

After you finish your story the rest of the walk is pretty quiet expect for the sound of Ao on kicking a rock. After a while you can tell that Shiro has had enough. He bends down picks up the rock before Ao could kick it again and throws it into the ditch alongside the road, exactly how a pitcher would in baseball.

Next thing you know, Murasaki's laughing, Ao's wailing and shiro's complaining. You sigh and pick Ao up and give Shiro a lecture on not taking Ao's things.

Once you get to the city area a stranger starts to walk behind you and the kids. At the time you think nothing of it but, later on you'll wish you did.

Yeah, I know that it's way shorter than some of the other chapters but what do I like to say? A chapter's a chapter.
