chapter 22

"Alright,  so the evacuation team successfully removed 254 people from the area,  correct?"  You ask one of your coworkers.  "Yes, however there are plenty of people who have been injured." They respond. "Thank you Rini, I appreciate it." You say as you walk  away to go look for more survivors.

You and multiple of your coworkers have been working on finding survivors of the recent events that have happened at the city of Daika. The league Of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army had gotten into a fight,  and it only ended days ago.

Hohimi walks up to you from behind and puts her hand on your shoulder.  "I've seen a lot of cities be destroyed by illegal use of quirks,  but this is extreme." She tells you.  You nod in response. You are about to say something when you see something out of the corner of your eye. 

You stop dead in your tracks.  You then turn to where you think you saw something.  There they  are. The people who caused this event in the first place.  The league of villains.

'But why are they still here? The fight stopped days ago.' You think to yourself.  "(Y/n), do you see som-" Hohimi cut herself off.  She is probably to afraid to move as well. 

Just then one of the members of the LOV spoke up. "HEY! WHO'S THAT?!"  On instinct,  you and Hohimi run as fast as you two can away from the rest of the team. "We gotta run away from the team.  If they get to them,  god knows what they're going to do to them!" Hohimi tells you.  Of course you know that already,  it was a part of your training.

After few minutes you started to slow down.  You looked behind yourself,  and your theory was right, they were indeed chasing after the you two. "Hohimi, we should split up. It's going to make it harder for them to catch both of us if we split ways." You told her. Hohimi nodes and takes a left and as for you, you keep running straight for a while then you take a right.

To your horror you turned to a dead end. "Quickly (Y/n), find somewhere to hide." You wispered to yourself.  Just then, an idea hit you.

••••meanwhile••••

"Ok, it looks like one of those two split up,  so we should too. But since Shigaraki isn't here, we kinda need to split up into uneven groups." One of the members under the alliance of 'Twice' says to the group. 

"Hold on Twice,  who put you be in charge?" The member under the alliance of "Spinner" asked.  Another member has ideas different from the rest of the group.  He is going to find that woman with the (H/c) colored hair. 

"Hold on, Dabi where you going?" Spinner asked him. "Didn't you say that we're going to go find them? I'm going to find that chick with the (H/c) hair." Says the one refered to as "Dabi".

"Yeah,  then what?" Spinner asks Dabi.  Dabi shrugs a bit. "Then we'll just have a chat I guess." He told Spinner.  "Sounds to me like you know her on a personal level,  Dabi." Says the man commonly known under the alliance of "Mr Compress".

Dabi doesn't confirm nor deny Mr Compress' statement.

  After a few seconds of running,  he turns to where you had turned only ample minutes earlier.  "Come on out.  It's a dead end, (Y/n)."  Dabi says into the alleyway. A shiver goes down your spine.  'How does he know my name? ' You think to yourself.   

You can hear his footsteps getting closer and closer, And the same is for his hauntingly familiar voice.  "I know that I meant a lot to you. Why don't we... catch up."   He turned to check right beside a dumpster.  He opened the lid to it looking for you.  "You're not there.  Now that's indeed strange,  isn't it,  (Y/n)?" He says.

Dabi tries to knock the dumpster over,  however it is securely bolted to the ground and, on top of that, he wouldn't have been strong enough to knock it over regardless. "It's out of character for you to hide with trash anyways." Dabi looks around the alley.  "Nothing in here but this single trash can. I need to get my eyes checked,  I must have walked down the wrong alley." He says to himself. 

His footsteps became more and more distant to the extent of them not being able for you to hear.  'Now's my chance.'you think to yourself.  You dig yourself out from under the bottom of the dumpster, and run as quietly as you can back to the group. 

To your relief, once you arrive,  Hohimi is already waiting for you.  "Miss (L/n)! Where where you?!" Rini asks as she runs forward.  You look behind you  out of the fear that one of the villains might have followed you. Nobody was there of course, but as you turn back to look at Rini, a memory of that man's voice.

"I know that I ment a lot to you."

You take a moment to think to yourself.  'Who are you really, and how do I know you?"

•••episode 5 I think of  Flashbacks Because I Made A Huge Time Skip And  Yall Probably Wanna know what Happened Inbetween•••

It was early in the morning. The house was silent, well exept for you and Fuyumi. The two of you had decided to stay up late.  Why? Because tomorrow was her birthday. 

The two of you were quietly playing a game of go fish before you heard Toya and Natsuo's bedroom door open. "Who was that?" Fuyumi asked you. You shrugged. "I dunno but I'm going to check." You stood up from where you were sitting and went to peek out of the door.

To be expected,  you couldn't see anyone as for you took your time getting over there. You spun around. "I'm going to go out and look.  I'll be back soon." You told her. Fuyumi nodded and kept doing whatever she pleased.

You opened the door just enough for you to get out.  Once you were in the hallway,  you closed the door behind you gently.   You turned right and went towards the stairs. You had no clue where you should go, so you just want to the kitchen to get some water.

Once you had reached the kitchen,  you saw that someone had beat you to it.  'I might as well have a little bit of fun while I'm here.' You thought to yourself. You walked forward slowly as to make sure that you made as minimal noise as possible. Once you were in reach, you reached out your hand and placed it on his shoulder. "Who's?! Oh. It's just you." Touya said. You laughed at him a little before you calmed yourself down.  "Okay, okay.  So, what're you doing up this late?" Touya asked you.

You whipped up a quick but believable excuse.  "I was just thirsty.  I was going to ask you that." You answered. "Same." Was all Touya replied with. You felt as if something was... off. Touya normally responded with more than just "same". Even if it was "same here" or "same for me".  "Well,  I'm off to bed g'night. sl-" "Quit the act Touya, I know that something's wrong." You interrupted him.

He stopped in his tracks and paused before speaking.  "It was supposed to be me. I  was the first!  Dad told me that I was the one that could  surpass All Might! I was the strongest!  I am the strongest! Why? Why does it have to be Shouto now?  Why wasn't I good enough? Why does nobody think that I'm worth their time?  Why do I need to be considered a failure? Why does nobody ever  think that I'm good enough? Why am I never noticed?   Why was I born?"  Hearing this broke your heart. "Touya..." you breathed.  "You are good enough.   You are not a failure.   You are worth people's time. You are noticed.  You were born for a reason. You just haven't seen it yet. "

Touya inhaled sharply before wiping at his eyes. "Why do you always have such a way with words? " Touya asked you. You wrapped him in a hug. "Just comes naturally I guess." You said.  After Touya had finished crying, you decided to talk again.  "You ready to go back upstairs now?" You asked.  Touya nodded.  "But I.. thought you said that you were thirsty?" Touya asked,  his voice still shaky.  "Well,  that was a lie." You said as you scratched the back of your neck. Touya laughed a little.

"Let's get to bed, it's late."

How's it going my good men? I'm back and not doing a 3k reads special because I need to keep this story moving, but instead I tried to make this chapter a bit longer than some of my other ones. Right now,  you might be wondering , "didn't you say that you'd only be gone for one week?  Why didn't you update then?" First off,  I'm here now,  be grateful That I wasn't gone for THREE weeks.  Second of all, I am still thinking about something that happened at the camp that I went to.  (I'll specify on that If you ask. )
