2.2 : Lady And The Moon

The news of her pregnancy didn't spread to the outside world but a few people like her parents and the Joker family still know about it so they often visited at their mansion or sometimes let their daughter/daughter in-law, Rachel visited them

And just like that, Rachel schedule is full and hadn't time to relax.... Only when night came and a moon which shines brightly at the dark together with a twinkling of a star would she dare reveal her emotion

Sitting on a chair beside the open window, the cold wind gently carresing her face and the wind howling is like a music in the silent night

With her body facing the moon, Rachel sigh tiredly while carresing the bulging belly, looking up she saw her companion shine brightly at the night and always accompany her at her lonely night

After marriage, Rachel husband rarely visited at their room as he always sleep in a guest room or would always come at home late at night so Serina only companion from the gloomy room is the moon

But now, she will had a another one accompany her

"My child"

Eyes full of sorrow and deep mother affection , she whisper gently at her belly and wishing for the child to grow up soon and accompany her

Rachel is really timid and weak by nature, that's why despite being held as the most beautiful woman in this city, most people don't find her personality attractive at all

So when she heard the doctor words that day, she was panic and at loss what to do, she's afraid on what would happen in the future with her and her unborn child but after having the child with her for a few months, she gradually accept her and was already plan what to do but she still didn't expect that her water broke out earlier than it was supposed to be

The whole mansion was panic at this unexpected situation and call the ambulance immediately completely forgotten to report it to their master

When Lucas heard it, the baby was already born and the only person who accompany Rachel is her older sister Eonne together with her nanny and her 1 year old baby boy, Adam

Entering the room, The nurse gently give the newborn child to Eonne and left to take care some paper works

"Is he here?"

A weak trembling voice laced with nervous and expectation said

Eonne who've been enjoying looking at the newborn baby in her embrace look at her sister who's life been at the edge of death while giving birth and said hiding her anger from that bastard

"He didn't come"

Rachel feel dejected and sad but that soon replace with happiness seeing her child and ask with excitement

"Sister, I want to see my baby" Rachel told her as she weakly tug at Eonne long sleeve. Eonne nodded and hold onto the baby and put it closer to the baby's mother

She laugh,

"She's chubby!"

Eonne nod and smile gently as she stare at her sister lovingly and though silently in her heart

'Lucas doesn't deserve my meimei heart'

Sighing silently, she then said energetically (she already forgot her son 😂)

"So what are you gonna name her?"

Rachel pause for a moment and seems to be thinking about something

Suddenly, something caught her eyes and said without thinking

"Luna"

"I'll name her Luna which means moon"

Eonne pause slightly as her eyes watered for some unknown reason,
"Hm! That's a good name"

Rachel reached out for the baby, so Eonne put the baby next to her as Rachel hold onto baby luna gently, so gently as if she was her most precious treasure that she cherish.

A bit jealous, Eonne though her position in her sister heart would be replace and so she took the baby away from Rachel arms which cause baby luna to wail loudly

"Waaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!"

Eonne receive a glare from Rachel and took the pitiful baby luna away from her

Rachel clumsily and cautiously embrace her daughter and pat softly

"Shhhh, mama's here, I'm here"

The noise stop after minutes of repeatedly pat and coax of Rachel

Baby luna open her eyes and the first thing she did was smile cutely at the person embracing her

The two mother's squall from her cuteness and their eyes are completely focus on baby luna, already forgotten baby Adam who been waiting for his mommy at the outside

Seems to detect that his mother forgotten him, he cried loudly that a lot of passers-by from the hospital take a glance at their direction in wonder

The nanny was sweating nervous and she couldn't stop his cry no matter how she tries so without any choice, she carry the young master and enter the ward

"Madam, I can't stop the young master crying"

The nanny apologise

Eonne, who been enjoying teasing baby luna look at their direction and then look at the crying baby

Eonne accepted the nanny apology and then said "Give me the young master"

When baby Adam smell a familiar scent together with her warm hugs, his cries stop and hug his mother

Rachel awkwardly look at them and cough

"Oh right! Adam, meet your newborn baby cousin Luna... What do you think? Isn't she so adorable and cute?"

Eonne said excitedly and was looking forward at her son(step son) reply as she know he will understand what she's talking about

1 year old Adam, looking at his mother expression which full of affection at the baby in his auntie arms frown as he then look at his so called cousin and said

"ugy" (translation: ugly)

The mothers dumbfounded

And baby luna who seems to feel malicious at the child, cried 10x louder than before

"Waaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!"
