Chapter 17 : Hidden Story

Charlotte Pov

Finally seeing the Heroine for the First time face to face, I suddenly get suspicious when I see her sudden change of attitude and the hidden mission that pop-up infront of me

'Hidden story?'

I frown when I read it because in my past life, there's really no hidden story of the Heroine in the game but if there's really hidden story of her behind the game, that must have something to do with the original Joker since the heroine, Eline knows her name

'Is this had also to do with the childhood memory that was missing on Luna memories?'

"Ummmm..... Shouldn't you suppose to take my hand and stand?"

Eline seems to see me frowning and though that I despise her so she awkwardly ask while slowly retract her hands

"Ah sorry I get distracted sometimes"

I said as I then swiftly grab her hand and stand up

Don't know why but this Eline girl seems to glance at my neck multiple times as if making sure on something

"Is there something wrong in my neck?" I politely ask

She cough as she then remove her gaze and said not looking at my face "Nothing"

OK?

I look at her up and down and secretly sigh in appreciation at her appearance

When I was going to retract my gaze, I stop when it landed on her neck

???

"Your crescent tattoo is nice" I said as I still linger on a very similar style of birthmark of mine on her neck

"Ummm.. Thanks" Eline awkwardly said as she then covered the crescent and look at me with complicated emotions

Can't bear the awkward atmosphere, I straightforwardly ask "You know me?"

Eline nodded and then shook her head which confuse me what she means...

Another awkward silence

"Ummm.... What's your name?" Eline ask

I sigh and with my usual calm look, I said

"Charlotte"

I excuses myself and left without looking back

As Charlotte left, Eline was in trance when she walk which cause her to bump another person again

The person she bump hurriedly grab her hand when he notice she was going to fall and said coldly

"Why are you distracted?"

Looking above, Eline suddenly smile and said his name cheerfully

"Adam!"

Adam just nodded and his earlier angry subdue when he see the crescent mark on Eline neck

'no matter how many times you failed, just remember that I still give you my support'

Adam suddenly recalled a moment of his childhood and can only sigh as he then said to Eline who he know since his childhood days

"Where are you going anyway?"

Eline was in conflict on whether she tell Adam that she found her or not but when she heard his question, she tossed those aside and said "I was looking for you"

At Charlotte Side

"Are you Charlotte?"

Turning her head to the person who ask, Charlotte almost jump from her chair out of fright when she saw her...

Blazing red hair and her reddish orange eyes.... This girl is no other than

Domina Fier

A cannon fodder who is the Jack's of Flush in Flaminggo Academy and Michael cousin on mother's side

'Umm... Syn, why is she here already?' Charlotte look at Domina perfunctorily and ask her system

Syn was confused at her host question and said

《 Host, it's already time for them to appear 》

After Syn said it, Domina repeated her question when she notice that the person infront of her didn't answer her question and seems to be distracted

"Miss, are you perhaps Charlotte?"

Coming back from her senses, Charlotte reply "Yes" this time

"Then I'll be on your care"

"Huh?" Charlotte look at her confused on what she means

Domina is started to get impatient and sleepy at the same time as she then grab Charlotte arms and said "Headmaster said that he assign you as my tour guide and the one will be with me in this following days until the next round started or there's perhaps another Charlotte in this school?"

"I'm the only Charlotte here"

'Now that I think of it, Headmaster do said that to me last week ago but I didn't expect it would be the Jack's on Flaminggo Academy... The rival of our academy' Charlotte thought as she then do her job as a tour guide

After so many hours has passed, the two of them is now infront of the dorm of Charlotte which will be a place Domina gonna sleep

Opening the door, Charlotte suddenly reminded that her roommate will be not in the dorm in the following days because of family matters in their house.

"You may sleep on the other room since the person who use there will not be coming here in school for following days"

Domina didn't reply at her words and shut the door quite loudly

Charlotte look at the room for a seconds and then go to hers

"Syn, does the original Joker also the tour guide on Domina?"

《 I think so 》

"What do you mean I think so?" Charlotte raised her brow and look at her shiny ball system

《 The plot didn't show about the original Joker movement and the Jack of Flush in the Flaminggo Academy is a cannon fodder in the game 》

In other words, since the two characters aren't the Heroine, There's no plot will be show in the game

Charlotte now feel that she's dumb when the system said it in matter-of-fact tone

Charlotte walk out on their dorm to get some fresh air and to do something secretly

"Syn, contact Miss Anna system and ask if she had some time"

《 Done.. The main system said Jefe will video chat with host in 10 minutes later 》
