2018
My name is Emily Gabriela Azevedo, everyone calls me Mily, I'm 5.2 feet tall, I have blue eyes, brown hair, although last month I managed to convince my parents to let me dye it blonde, my skin is white, I'm 15 years old, I'm in 9th grade, I have no idea how much I weigh, but I can assure you that I am thin, although not that much.
My family is made up of my Dad and my Mom, Leonardo and Maria, I will talk to you later about them a little more. I have two older siblings, Bianca and Carlos, she is in grade 11 and he is in university studying architecture. Finally, I have a younger sister, her name is Amelia and she is 11 years old. I can say that I am a normal girl... who am I kidding, I am invisible, in my school, in my house and everywhere in general.
As you could deduce I have asthma, I was diagnosed 1 year ago, I have to use an inhaler every 6 hours and sometimes I can't do Physical Activities in class because it's hard for me to breathe. I have a group of friends, they are on the same classroom as me and they are my only friends at school. My best friend, her name is Isabella, I call her Bella, she calls me Gaby because she says she wants to call me by an original name. There is also my boy best friend, his name is Matías, we are so close that people say we are together, but I don't like him and he doesn't like me, I think. What I do know is that he is a very kind and very trustworthy boy, I can tell him even my deepest secret and he would not tell it even if his life was in danger.
The three of us are completely opposite poles, Bella is crazy, outgoing and not very athletic, but she loves art. Mati on the other hand, is more athletic and is very helpful and attentive; and I am a mixture of both, I think I am the one who unites them.
I like a boy, Simon. He's tall, blue-eyed, brown hair, he is my class and I would never dare to speak to him.
The most important detail in my story is that my parents are church pastors, but they have not managed to convince us all 4 siblings about God, the only one who follows their little game is my younger sister, a true saint. Bianca and Carlos don't want to know anything about God, neither do my friends, and I don't know whose side I'm on.
My life was boring until a dance changed everything.
