Early Christmas morning, Samantha woke up gasping for air, another nightmare taking over her sleep.

Her body felt warm and sweat stuck to her forehead as she sat up trying to catch her breath.

She could hear her own heart beating in her chest and she could feel her tears streaming down her face. At moments like this she wished she slept in the same bed as Fred.

Even though the two of them apologized to one another, Samantha thought it would still be best if she slept in her own bed for the rest of winter break despite Fred's begging and constant assurance that everything between them was fine.

Samantha shivered as she flung her comforter off her bare legs, she quickly got out of bed not caring if she was only wearing one of Fred's t-shirts, and walked out of her room.

She quietly walked down the hall and slowly opened the door to the twins room. Luckily her eyes were accustomed to the dark, because as she tiptoed to Fred's bed she could see where she was going.

Samantha made it to Fred's bed and gently shook his shoulder trying to wake him up.

A tiny groan left Fred's lips as he swatted her away, not wanting to be woken up from his slumber.

"Freddie." Samantha whispers her voice cracking.

Fred's eyes opened quickly when he heard Samanthas broken voice and he sat up worried.

"Love? What's wrong?" He whispers trying to make out her face but it was hard in the dark.

Samantha sniffles and Fred sighs knowing that she must have had a nightmare. He carefully grabs her hands and pulls her underneath his covers.

The two of them lay down and Samantha cries quietly against his chest breaking Fred's heart.

Fred knew not to question her on what her nightmare was about, it could have been two options and he knew she wouldn't want to talk about either of them.

Instead he carefully combed his fingers through her hair and held her closely to him.

It broke his heart feeling her tears on his bare chest and he could tell she was shaken because she was shaking really bad.

"He tried to kill me again." Samantha cries and Fred shushes her gently not wanting her to work herself up more.

"He's not going to kill you love, he's not going to come anywhere near you." Fred whispers gently to her.

Samantha closed her eyes and lets out a shaky breath wishing that these nightmares would end.

"Listen to my heart love." Fred whispers and Samantha does as her fiancé says and listens to the gentle thumping of his heart.

"Try to go back to sleep, I'll be right here the whole time." Fred whispers again and Samantha hums gently as a response.

She could feel herself becoming tired again and her body started to relax as it fell into a peaceful state of sleep.

Fred noticed right when Samantha fell asleep because he felt her body relax against his.

He sighs and kisses the top of her head gently resting his cheek on the top of her head holding her closely.

Fred felt his eyes become heavy and he closed them falling asleep while holding Samantha as close to him as possible.

Later in the morning Samantha was the first one to wake up. Her eyes fluttered open and she tried to sit up but was stopped by an arm holding her tight.

The memories of walking into the twins room earlier filled her mind and she sighs cuddling closer to Fred's chest.

"Morning." Fred groans waking up and Samantha smiles sheepishly.

"Sorry." She whispers and Fred smiles lightly kissing the top of her head.

"It's alright love." Fred whispers.

"Merry Christmas bitches." George says from his bed making Samantha burst out laughing along with Fred.

"Merry Christmas Georgie." Samantha says sitting up and stretching her arms.

A knock on the door fills the air and Mrs. Weasley walks into the room smiling.

"Time to get up! Up up!" She says walking out of the room and all three get up quickly Samantha gets a pair of George's sweats and pulls them.

George and Fred got dressed quickly as well and Fred wraps his arms around her waist from behind kissing her neck gently.

"Merry Christmas." Fred whispers gently.

"Merry Christmas my love." Samantha whispers smiling.

The trio makes their way downstairs, Samantha getting attacked by Ginny who hugged her tightly.

Samantha smiles and hugs the younger girl back tightly kissing the top of her head.

"Merry Christmas Sam." Ginny says looking up at her.

"Merry Christmas Gin, did the boys eat all the food yet?" Samantha asks and Ginny shakes her head dragging the older girl into the dinning room.

"Merry Christmas darling." Remus says walking past her but not with out placing a fatherly kids on her head.

"Merry Christmas Moony." Samantha says and she moves to sit next to Harry kissing his cheek while he looks at her disgusted.

"Ew, Im trying to eat." He says and Samantha ignores him turning her attention back to Ginny, who today very much needed her attention.

After breakfast and presents Samantha started to feel slightly overwhelmed and walked into an empty room, which had random things inside it.

"How are you?" Sirius asks making Samantha looks up at her god father.

"I'm alright, just a little overwhelmed with how many people are here." Samantha says and Sirius laughs lightly sitting beside her.

"Yes I suppose Molly did over due it this Christmas." He says and Samantha laughs lightly knowing he was right.

"How are things between you and Fred?" He asks and she sighs.

"Slowly getting back to normal, but I don't know who knows how long the good will last." Samantha admits and Sirius sighs.

"My dear you have so much of your life to live still, try to focus on the good." He says gently and she nods her head knowing he was right.

"You're right, guess I can't always expect something to go bad. Thank you Sirius." She says gently and Sirius wraps an arm around her shoulders pulling her close.

"You know your father and I used to spend every Christmas together, even when he was married to you mother." Sirius says.

"Really?"

"Really, your father was a brother to me, was for so many years it feels odd not having him around anymore." Sirius says and Samantha nods her head.

"I used to blame myself for what happened to them, used to force myself to believe I could have done something." Samantha whispers and Sirius sighs sadly.

"But then Fred would be there for me when I woke up screaming and he always told me that it wasn't my fault, I was four." Samantha confesses.

"And now... now I have no fucking clue what to feel about their deaths."

"And that's alright, you are allowed to feel that way." Sirius says gently.

"You know your parents would be proud of you, you did such an amazing job raising Harry. Probably better than your dad could have raised him."

Samantha laughs lightly making Sirius smile. Samantha stands up and holds out a hand to her godfather.

"I suspect everyone will soon start to look for us if we don't return to the chaos soon." She explains and Sirius takes her hand standing up as well.

"You are correct, it's because we are the lives of the party." He says making Samantha nod her head.

"That's true, they would all die of boredom without us."
