As Samantha was with Neville, Fred was looking all around the castle for her and he was starting to become worried when he couldn't find her.

"Harry!" Fred yells running towards the youngest Potter who was talking to Ron and Hermione in the halls.

"Fred?" Harry asks confused as Fred ran over to where the three third years were standing.

"Where is your sister?"

"Sam?"

"No your other sister." Fred says sarcastically and Harry just shrugs his shoulders.

"I don't know, I haven't seen her since this morning." Harry says honestly making Fred frown at his words.

"Do you know where she could be? I wanted to see if she wanted to sneak to the kitchens before the feast." Fred explained and Harry frowned at Fred's words, did Fred not know?

"I don't think she'll want to Fred." Harry says and Fred looks at him confused while Hermione rolls her eyes at the fifth year boy.

"Do you not know what today is?" Hermione asks as if Fred was the dumbest human on the planet.

"Yes I know what day it is Hermione, it's Halloween." Fred says back frowning at the third year making her roll her eyes again.

"Yes, but do you know what today is for Samantha and Harry?" Hermione asks again and Fred looks at her confused, while Harry was giving Fred a sad look. Samantha must not have told Fred about the day their parents died.

"What are you talking about? I'm just trying to find Sam." Fred says annoyance clearly detected in his tone, and Harry knew right then and there Samantha hadn't said a word to him about what today was.

"Fred, today's the day our parents died." Harry whispers and Fred's eyes soften when he looks at Harry.

"What? Are you okay?" Fred whispers feeling guilty for basically bothering him about his sisters whereabouts.

"I'm okay, but I don't know about Sam. You know how she gets with this stuff." Harry says and Fred nods his head sadly understanding what Harry was saying.

"My best bet is that she's by the black lake or in the astronomy tower. Just don't push her to talk Fred, she's hurting today." Harry says and Fred nods his head and quickly thanks and apologizes to Harry before turning around and heading towards the black lake first, it was the closets out of the two.

As Fred was walking towards the black lake he saw George walking down the hall towards him, and once they crossed paths Fed grabbed George's arm and pulled him to the side.

"Did you know today was?" Fred whispers to George and he looks at Fred confused.

"Yeah today is Halloween- oh shit." George curses under his breath. Fred looks at George sadly based off of his twins response.

"So you knew? You knew today was the day Samanthas parents died?" Fred asks hurt.

He didn't understand why Samantha wouldn't tell him. Why she wouldn't bring up the fact that today was her parents death anniversary. Fred would have made sure to be with her all day, to be there for her when she needed him.

"Yeah, you know me and Samantha tell each other everything." George whispers back giving Fred an apologetic look.

"Then why wouldn't she tell me?" Fred asks hurt, he was her boyfriend. Fred felt he should know these things about her, otherwise what's the point of being her boyfriend if he couldn't be there for her on days like this!

"I can't tell you." George whispers and Fred looks at George hurt.

"Look, she already got mad at me for telling you that she had a crush on you last year, and that I didn't tell her you were in love with her. It's not my place to tell you her feelings, you have to ask her yourself." George explained and Fred sighed nodding his head at his twins words.
