Over the last month Samantha never thought that she would snarl or glare at so many people in her life. She hardly ever let Harry out of her sight and never wanted him to be alone, which wasn't hard since Ron and Hermione hardly left his side.

Samantha and Oliver went on their date a month ago and went perfectly, well almost perfectly. Samantha spent most of the time worrying about her brother and Oliver completely understood, but he did his best to try to distract her.

They had become very close, but they weren't officially dating. Most people were shocked to see the two quidditch players so close together, everyone thought that Samantha and Fred would end up together.

Speaking of Fred, he didn't let the fact that he was crushing on one of her closest friends ruin their friendship just because she had a thing with Oliver Wood. He was happy for Samantha he saw how happy Oliver made her and that's all he wanted for her.

It was now Christmas break and Samantha was in the common room with the twins and Ginny. Oliver went back home to Scotland for the holidays while Samantha stayed back with the Weasley's.

The twins sat on the floor while Samantha sat on the couch with Ginnys head resting on her lap. Samantha ran her fingers through the girls making Ginny sigh and close her eyes relaxed.

"How's Oliver?" Fred asks looking up at Samantha. Samantha smiles towards Fred telling him all about how Oliver was happy to be home but how much she missed him.

"You're so in love Sammy." Ginny says smiling widely up at the Potter girl. Samanthas cheeks heat up and she rolls her eyes at Ginnys words.

"No im not. We aren't even dating Ginny." Samantha says making Ginny roll her eyes.

"No you two just snog each others faces off whenever you have the chance." George states smirking making Samantha grab a pillow at throw it at his face.

The four of them laugh at Samanthas actions and Samantha looks down at Ginny giving her a small smile, she looked so peaceful. She was so young and innocent and Samantha prayed that she wouldn't change from who is was now only grow.

"I love you Gin." Samantha whispers making Ginny smile widely up at the girl.

"Love you too Sammy."

Fred and George watch the two girls interact with small smiles on their faces. Everyone knew Samantha had a soft spot for Ginny Weasley, it was really no secret. The twins were glad Ginny had a good female role model, Samantha was 10x better role model then any of the Weasley boys.

"Do you think everything will go back to normal soon?" Ginny asks Samantha looking at her worriedly.

"Of course Gin, and if not I'll be here to protect you." Samantha whispers making Ginny smile widely at Samanthas words, it made the girl feel 10x better.

"Yes the future Auror here to protect us all!" Fred yells dramatically making Samantha roll her eyes. She grabs her wand and points it at the red head jokingly.

"Fred Weasley if you do not stop teasing me I will write to Nymph to come and beat you up." Samantha teases and the color from Fred's face drains at the mention of his older brothers best friend.

When Samantha and the twins were first and second years they always stuck with Charlie Weasley, who was always with Nymphadora Tonks. Nymphadora was the whole reason why Samantha wanted to become an auror, she would be told all these fascinating stories about helping make the wizarding world a better place, and Samantha wanted to do that.

But Fred was terrified of the metamorphmagus, and it was all because of what happened their second year at Hogwarts.
