The next day came, and Samantha woke up feeling sad. Today was October 31st, the day her parents died, and she hated this day, but she's decided to not just sit around a be depressed like she has done the previous years.

No she is going to go to her classes, to the Halloween feast for the first time, she'll even go to the champion choosing tonight with Fred like he wanted.

She was tired of her grief controlling her life, and so she wasn't going to let it anymore.

Samantha got out of bed and realized that both Alicia and Angelina were already awake and out of the room.

She got dressed in her school uniform and she ran her fingers through her hair getting it the way that she wanted.

Samantha smiled lightly at her reflection and she touched the locket that rested on her chest, she only took it off when she showered.

Her brown eyes glance down at her desk and sees the golden snitch she was gifted for her birthday by Sirius.

She reaches down and touches it smiling lightly, she wondered if her dad carried it everywhere with him or if he just left it in his room.

A knock on the door breaks Samanthas attention and she walks over opening the door to be greeted by Fred.

"We have to talk." He says and the smile on her face falls and her heart started to race quickly.

'He's here to break up with me.' She thought to herself. She knew that those pretty French girls would want Fred to break up with her. She totally understood it because they were gorgeous while she was just Sam.

Samantha nods her head and moves to the side where Fred could easily walk into the room without having to bump into her.

Samantha closes the door behind Fred and walks over sitting on the edge of her bed. She was fiddling with her fingers and she felt like she wanted to die.

"You're breaking up with me, aren't you?" Samantha whispers sadly and Fred looks at her confused.

"What? Love no, no I'm not breaking up with you! I never want to break up with you." Fred says walking over taking her hands into his giving them a small squeeze and Samantha looked at him confused.

"Then why do you want to talk?" She asks and Fred sighs bringing her hands up to his lips kissing them gently.

"Because I wanted to apologize for last night. I know how it must have seemed when I kept staring at that girl, but love it was like I didn't have a choice. I don't have eyes for anyone but you and I mean it, hell you can shove Veritaserum down my throat if you don't believe me." He whispers and Samantha gave him a small smile.

"I'm not mad Freddie, I just got... I got a little insecure. I mean she was like drop dead gorgeous and really skinny..."

"Samantha Marlene Potter, don't you dare compare yourself to her," Fred starts sternly placing his hands on her cheeks, "you're the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen. Don't bring yourself down, you're so gorgeous inside and out." Fred whispers gently and a small smile appears on Samanthas face.

"I know we are still working on undoing the damage Oliver's caused, I know that. But I don't ever want to hear you compare yourself to anyone ever again." Fred whispers and Samantha nods her head.

Fred kisses her forehead gently and pulls her into his arms. Samantha snuggles closer to his warmth, and Fred rests his head in his designated spot, in the crook of her neck.

"I love you so much, please don't forget it." Fred whispers and Samantha kisses his shoulder gently as a reply, she was just enjoying being held in his arms.
