The weeks continued to go by quickly, going to classes and doing DA meetings once a week took a lot more energy from Samantha than she actually thought it would. She was happy that today was their last meeting before they leave for Christmas break in two days, not that Samantha was counting.
"Fred carry me please?" Samantha begs as she slowly walks behind Fred, she didn't sleep very well the past night and she was dreading even having to go teach the DA meeting for today.
"Alright love." Fred says picking Samantha up bridal style and she rests her head on his shoulder sighing happily.
Today they were going to try to teach the others how to use a patronas charm, Samantha was sure most of them would be able too cast a patronas.
"Maybe we should ditch today's lesson and go to bed early?" Fred questions quietly and Samantha shakes her head a yawn escaping her lips.
"No, no Harry needs me for this lesson. It's the last one before break I'll be okay." Samantha whispers and Fred sighs nodding his head.
He knew it would be useless arguing with him about this, she had been over working herself but she was to stubborn to listen to anything Fred said.
The two of them walk into the room of requirement and Fred sets Samantha on the ground gently.
"Thank you my love." She says leaning up and kissing Fred's cheek.
"You're welcome baby." He whispers happily and she walks over to Harry while Fred walks over to Ron since they were the only four in the room right now.
"Are you ready for today's lesson?" Harry asks Samantha and she nods her head.
"Yeah I am, are you?" She questions and Harry nods his head.
After a few minuets everyone else joins the room making the Potter siblings move to stand in front of the class.
"First off today is our last day of practice until after the holidays." Samantha says and a few people groan sadly.
"And second today we are going to be working on something a little harder, something that can save your life. It is called the patronas charm." She continues.
"In order to cast the charm you have to think of one of your happiest memories." Harry says and everyone nods their heads.
"What are yours?" Seamus asks the two and the two Potters glance at each other.
"Mine is the day Samantha taught me how to ride a broom." Harry lies slightly and Samantha gives him a small smile not knowing he was lying.
"Mine is the day Fred told me he loved me for the first time." Samantha says her cheeks heating up slightly.
The girls squeal while the guys, other then Fred and George, groan at the lovely dovey stuff.
"Anyways, you have to say expelliarmus in order for the spell to be casted. Let's get to work." Samantha says and everyone quickly moves around the room to start working on the spell.
Samantha walks over to Fred, George, and Lee smiling as they continue to struggle to cast their patronas.
"You boys seem to be struggling." Samantha teases and George glares at her slightly.
"What memories are you guys using? Maybe they aren't strong enough." Samantha suggests.
"Mine is my first time on the Hogwarts train." Lee says and Samantha nods her head understanding why that would be anyone's happiest memories.
"The first prank we've ever pulled as a quartet." George smiles and Samantha laughs lightly knowing that day was absolutely a train wreck.
"What about you my love?" Samantha asks looking at Fred and he walks over leaning down so the other two wouldn't hear.
"It was the day I knew I wanted to marry you." He whispers and Samantha felt her cheeks heat up slightly.
"Really?" She asks and Fred smiles down at her nodding his head.
"Hey! Sam can you not make out with your boyfriend for a second?" Harry asks and Samantha rolls her eyes holding up a middle finger to her younger brother.
As the class went on almost everyone was able to cast the patronas, Ginny was the first and some others followed quickly after her.
Once class was done Samantha and Harry wished everyone a good Christmas.
"Do you want me to stay to help you clean up?" Samantha asks Harry and he shakes his head.
"No, go with Fred. I'll be fine." Harry says his eyes flickering behind her.
Samantha raises an eyebrow and turns around to see Cho Chang standing around waiting for Harry and her eyes widen at the realization.
"Oh... oh!" She says turning back to Harry and he gives her a pleading look to get out and not to say anything.
"Alright little brother, I must be going now. My fiancé needs me." She says extra loudly and Harry groans quietly shaking his head embarrassed.
Samantha pats his shoulder and skips outside the room of requirement smiling when she saw Fred waiting for her.
"That was fast." He says holding out his hand to her and Samantha happily interlocks their fingers together.
"Harry is about to have his first kiss with Cho Chang." Samantha says and Fred looks at her shocked.
"He still hasn't had his first kiss yet?" Fred asks and she shakes her head.
"Damn, by the time we were fifth years around this time we were having sex any chance we get." Fred states and Samantha shoved him slightly making him chuckle.
"We still do that." Samantha laughs lightly making Fred smile down at her lovingly.
A yawn escapes Samanthas mouth and Fred sighs knowing that she was probably exhausted.
"Come on love, let's get you to bed." Fred suggests and Samantha nods her head quickly agreeing with him.
"That sounds good my love." She says and lets Fred drag her back to their room and he practically threw her into his bed making her laugh lightly.
She crawls under the covers and her eyes start to become extremely heavy. Fred crawls into bed beside her pulling her so her head was resting on his chest.
"This is nice." She hums and Fred kisses the top of her head gently.
"Goodnight love."
"Goodnight Freddie."
