Us. Just us

Chani's been filming 5 dramas while he is being an active MC in Music Core. He would be lying if he says he's not feeling exhausted at all.  In fact there are countless times where he just wants to sleep and wake up after 2 years. Thats how tired he is.

Rowoon on the other hand is busy as well. He's been filming his upcoming drama where he is the lead, but if he were to compare his situation with Chani, his is a lot more manageable than that of the younger. The older knew that Chani's projects would be too much for one person.

Rowoon knows about Chani's perserverance- he knows it all too well. The boy has been unbelievably hardworking and he loves that about him.....so much.

Its been 3 months since they got back together. Old habits returned. Morning and night kisses are back on tracks, but these days, the older can't help but notice the evident exhaustion in Chani's whole being while he's in a not-so-deep sleep. He looks at the younger in sadness, understanding why he couldn't even go to bed and get all the sleep he wants because he's been reading his countless scripts. 

After admiring his boyfriend's cute sleeping figure, Rowoon then walks out of their shared room, brushed his teeth and changed into his pajamas. When he's finished, he slowly dips down their bed, careful not to disturb Chani, but Chani still managed to stir from his sleep, groaning slightly and lifting himself up from the pillow. Rowoon soothes him gently back down, ruffling his hair in which he knows Chani likes, making the younger sigh and lean into his palm.

"R...Rowoon?" Chani says shakily, voice still hoarse from sleep

"Yes baby. I'm here." Rowoon whispers, pressing a kiss on his forehead. "Are you okay? Go back to sleep"

Chani then sighs and wrapped his arms around Rowoon, huddling himself against his boyfriend's chest. Rowoon tries so hard not to coo on how cute his boyfriend is even when he's half awake like this. 

They both missed this. Ever since they patched all things between them after that terrible break up, they never really had the chance to be this close and no matter how many times they try to cuddle, Rowoon will never get used to this version of Chani that's all cuddly and affectionate.

"I missed you. You've been out the whole day while im here stuck with this fucking scripts. Im mad at how our schedules dont seem to match" Chani uttered

Rowoon chuckles lightly, knowing that Chani always complains about their crazy schedules and so he shifts over to the younger, wrapping an arm around him. 

"Im sorry but i'm also mad at you" Rowoon answered

"Huh? Whyyy?" Chani whines, eyes still shut, mouth forming to a pout.

"You're overworking yourself Chani." Rowoon chastises softly, his perfect thick brows furrowed in an obvious worry. "When have you last eaten a prope meal huh? Or even moved from that chair today?" he added.

"I need to memorize all these lines, love" Chani explains, voice woozy and obviously unsteady. He lets out a yawn, looking so freaking adorable and that makes Rowoon melt at the sight of the younger being such. 

"Shooting starts next week and there's still-" he lets out another yawn. "-more points to consider and things to take note of, but i'm-" Chani rubs his eyes as another yawn escaped his lips. "-sorry for making you mad baby"

Rowoon the  softens. Even when Chani's drowsy and half asleep, he really never forgets to be the nicest person ever and apologize even though he knew Rowoon can;t stay mad at him for too long, or at all, maybe. 

"I'm not mad." Rowoon mutters, voice low and completely soft. "But you should really take good care of yourself more okay? I don't like seeing you so exhausted all the time"

"You're saying that as if your schedules aren't as crazy as mine" Chani answered which made Rowoon glare. 

"Okay i promise i will." Chani snuggled closer to him, making Rowoon's heart ache from how undeniably soft and fond he is of him. 

Rowoon clicks his tongue, shaking his head slightly and rubbing Chani's cheeks. Chani keens at the action, a small smile adoring his face and knocking Rowoon's breath away. It's been so long since he last seen his boyfriend's legit smile- this 5 different project actually making Chani more distressed and sleep deprived since it started and a swell of victory blooms in Rowoon's own chest from the achievement he just made. 

"You've been so busy these weeks that you are not aware of Taemin sunbaenim's concert right?" Rowoon said 

"What? No way?" Chani screamed in surprise. How can he not know about this when he literally is Taemin's number one fanboy?

"Okay so since we're both free tomorrow, lets go watch. I got us tickets already. It'll be a good way to unwind and relax. Don't you think?" Rowoon uttered excitedly

Chani whines again, a pout on his cute lips. "But my scripts... my-"

Rowoon leans down and kisses Chani, cutting him off. Chani wasn't even surprised as he melts into the kiss, forgetting what he was probably gonna way. Rowoon raises his other hand to delicately place it on Chani's soft cheek, kissing him languidly and softly, a light pressure so Chani wouldn't be jostled too much. 

He pulls away, looking at Chani in fondness and affecrion while pressing his forehead against his. "I love you Chani. Please?" His tone was desperate but it was also laced with concern and anxiety. "Just this once hm?" 

A beat passed and Rowoon was about to ask again before Chani tightens his grip around him cuddling much more closer to his chest "Alright. I will"

Rowoon smiles, pressing another kiss on Chani's lips, his cheeks warming at the thought of Chani trusting him enough to leave all these crazy scripts for a few hours and just spend time with him. 

"I wouldn't trade this for anything, my love"

LMAO are you guys still here? Well, i hope you are. Oh God how long has it been? I'm really sorry for not updating for over a year. I really had a lot of stuff going on and cant find the inspiration to write, but right now i guess.....im back? Woooot. Thank you for being patient. I have no idea what's up with this chapter but i hope you guys liked it at least. I think this is the first fluff chapter in this story lol.
