Chapter 2 - Kaguya and Shirogane

"Hm?" Shirogane said while he looked back from studying when a notification popped up on his phone.

He picks it up and it reads:

Kaguya

Hey President, do you want to go shopping for some extra items for the dance?

"This late? We already have all of the items we need..."

He opens the notification. He types and says:

Why this late? - Shirogane

Well, it is less about the shopping and more about choosing the items together with you. - Kaguya

This text made Shirogane's heart skip a beat. However one question needed to be made.

The way you phrase it makes it seem like a date. - Shirogane

That's because it is. - Kaguya

What about the work for the school dance? - Shirogane

I've already got that covered. Ishigami said he will do it for this occasion. - Kaguya

It's not expected of Ishigami to do something like that. - Shirogane

True. But I decided that I will make him do the work for one day because he didn't do much for the entire preparations for the dance. - Kaguya

Flashback:

"Ishigami." Kaguya came up to Ishigami in the student council room.

"Yes, Shinomiya-senpai?"

"Why aren't you doing any substantial work?"

"Well, I'm just not feeling it." Ishigami said while playing on his switch.

"That's very flawed reasoning, Ishigami." Kaguya said.

"And here I've thought you've changed, Ishigami. Maybe because Koyasu is out of your life you feel no need to improve yourself or push harder? I can't believe you could be so casual about such an occasion." Kaguya thought.

"Might be, but I think I'm already doing enough work." Ishigami said.

"I can tell that you're not doing much work, you're pretty much only sorting the budget! That's not all you should be doing as Treasurer and Technician." Kaguya thought.

"Ishigami, come with me for a second."

"Hm? Sure."
