▌Chapter 21 ─ A Living Prime ▌
━━━━━ STEPHANIE CAME TO a stop behind Sam, a smile graced her lips upon seeing Ironhide, as well as other Autobots.
"Spotted Sam and Stephanie!" Arcee said.
"Hey Sam, Stephanie!" Ironhide spoke.
"Ironhide!" Sam shouted back.
"Follow us to the pillars. We'll take you to Optimus."
"Look out!" Sam yelled.
Arcee was shot down by one of the Decepticons. The Autobots went on to battle the Decepticons. "Get out, Sam! Get to the pillars!" Ironhide told him.
"Come on, let's go."
They were now in the middle of the battle zone, shots being fired from both sides of good and evil. Stephanie and Hero followed behind Sam and Mikaela, all four of them covering their heads as they passed under the fire. They were surrounded not only by pillars but a bunch of Decepticons more than there were Autobots.
"Hey!" Sam shouted, attempting to gain the Autobot's attention.
For Stephanie she would say that this was a normal thing for her but this was far from what she had experienced. In her eyes everything started to slow down as they got closer to the others. She didn't have many bullets left in her clips, she knew she would have to switch over to her staff eventually.
The blonde looked back as missiles from the Decepticons followed behind them. It eventually stopped but she knew it wasn't over. The four were thrown to the ground, however Stephanie and Hero turned around shooting towards the Decepticon. She continued to shoot until she had no more bullets.
"Shit, I'm out." Stephanie spoke, looking over at Hero.
She ripped the strap off of her and threw the gun to the ground. Then she pulled her batons out and connected them together. She pressed down on a button turning on the electricity. It was rare when she used that effect but she figured that now was a perfect time to use it. Stephanie turned around and saw her brother running away heading towards Lennox. Hero grabbed her arm and pulled her over to the others. Stephanie looked around soon, pressing the button and letting the electricity disappear.
"Look who showed up." Lennox said, looking at the four. "You better have a good reason for us to be here."
"Where's Optimus?" Sam asked him.
"He's right over there, across the courtyard."
"I got to get to him right now."
"Not with an air strike coming."
"I have to get to him right now."
"Go. Back, back, back, back." Lennox said, pushing Sam over to the other side. Stephanie pushed up against the wall and looked over at Lennox and Epps.
