▌Chapter 11 ─ Cheapo ▌
━━━━━ THE POLICE PULLED up to the house, sirens filling the blondes ears. She looked over to Mikaela as she pulled up to the curb not long after the police and fireman had arrived. After the blonde had talked to the police she headed around the back, walking towards the garage where Mikaela stood in a white dress. She smiled coming to a stop on the other side of the garage.
"You need to go be with Optimus Prime and the others. You need to take Steph with you too." Sam spoke to Bumblebee. "I know she is hiding the fact that she still works with the autobots and her old team. I mean the whole reason she joined the army was for the thrill and she has that when she goes on those missions." Sam added, Stephanie walked into the garage looking down at her feet. Sam turned back to look at his sister.
"I guess I didn't do a very good job of hiding it from you." Stephanie spoke quietly.
"Well, I saw the badge in your bag and I figured out the rest after seeing your gun." Sam informed her, a small smile on his face. Sam exited out of the garage leaving Bee and Stephanie alone to talk.
"So, what do we do now? Huh Bee?" Stephanie questioned even though she knew what she was going to do. Bee only shrugged his shoulders. "I guess, I'll meet you up there. I'm driving up with Sam and my parents to see him off to college."
Bee nodded in response, understanding what she was saying. "Bee, I promise Ratchet and I are going to figure out how to get your voice box working again." Stephanie informed the autobot.
With those words she exited out of the garage walking past her brother and his girlfriend. She walked into what remained of the house and grabbed her things. From there she exited out of the front heading to her car, waiting for everyone to get in the other car. Stephanie watched as her car turned on itself.
"Thanks, Daisy."
When Stephanie wasn't with NEST or the autobots Prime thought it was best for her to have her own protection detail. Daisy was a new autobot that had arrived on Earth, not long after Prime had sent that message.
"You're welcome." She spoke through the radio.
Her and Daisy had formed a good relationship as well, so in the end it would break her heart if something had happened to Daisy. The entire car ride had been nothing but quiet, Stephanie wasn't in the mood to talk after what had happened back at the house. She felt as though something terrible was going to happen, Daisy pulled up next to her parent's car and turned off the engine.
"Hey Daisy, we're gonna stay here for a bit and keep an eye on Sam."
"You know where I'll be."
Stephanie shook her head and climbed out of her car. Closing the door she turned towards her family. "Oh, my gosh! Look at this place! I feel smarter already. Ron, can you smell it?" Judy asked her husband as Stephanie walked over to the other car.
"Yeah, smells like $40,000 a year." Ron replied, looking around. Stephanie smiled at her father, while her mother placed a serious look on her face glaring at her husband.
"Oh hey, cheapo!"
"Hey, go ahead. We'll get your stuff."
In the distance Stephanie saw someone she hadn't seen in a long time. "I'll be back guys." Stephanie said walking away from her parents. They both watched as she walked down the path that led to a man.
"Hero Alexander is that you?" Stephanie questioned. She watched as the man turned around to face her. A smile made its way onto his lips as he stared at her.
"Stephanie Witwicky. What brings you here?" Hero questioned walking over to her and pulling her into a tight hug.
