Tuesday went by quickly mainly as a result of Aurora having nearly all her classes with the twins. Due to her not having potions on a Tuesday she didn't see Nott. Aurora couldn't drag her mind away from the day before's incidents. The way he spoke to her, how he placed the cigarette in her mouth, his hands on her hip and mouth and finally, not to mention that sensation between her legs.
Aurora is constantly told, in detail, about every little encounter Fred and George have with girls. Susan Bones from Friday night, check. Angelina from Friday night, check. Every little interaction they have with females, check. Aurora is told everything. Even if it was only a glance or quick looks.
But Aurora knew she couldn't tell them about what had happened with Nott. She kept having to remind herself that nothing had actually happened between them. Why she was so flustered over the simple action of being touched slightly and being asked to say please was beyond her.
Furthermore she knew that telling the twins would only complicate things. George had made several attempts to quiz her about what happened once they left the class.
How come you didn't tell me? I would've went too.
Where did the two of you even go?
Why did you look so flustered after?
I swear Rory if that slimy git tried anything I'll break both his legs——
His questions kept coming but Aurora kept dodging with simple I don't knows and Godrick George leave it. Fred remained oblivious of course, but even he noticed the interest Theodore Nott had taken in his bestfriend.
The three of them were now walking down to quidditch practice. Aurora had been allowed back on the team after McGonagall deemed it ridiculous that she had been banned to begin with considering Malfoy wasn't even injured. Much to the dislike of Lucius Malfoy, Aurora's ban had been ended.
Ron, Harry, Ginny and Hermione walked along the path too. Hermione, Ron and Ginny came to watch like always. As they passed Hagrid's, Umbridge could be seen exiting his hut, spraying her retched perfume everywhere. She caught sight of the group of gryffindors coming down the path and marched over toward them. A menacingly tight smile on her lips.
"State your business students. What are you doing here at this time?,"she clips.
Aurora looked from Fred to George then back at Umbridge. The others seemed to look around also. Taking the hint nobody was going to speak up, Aurora took it upon herself.
"Quidditch,"she answers curtly.
Umbridge shot Aurora a condescending giggle while looking at her.
"Come again dear? I thought you said quidditch?,"she giggled.
"I did,"Aurora retorted.
The silence that lingered in the air was thick. The slight breeze rustling the trees was the only sound to be heard.
"Well then we seem to have hit a little snag, I seem to have given permission to the slytherin team to practice all week. They mentioned they have a game coming up. I'm sure you understand,"she beamed.
George huffed and the annoying little woman shifts her gaze to him.
"Ever think about the team they are going to be playing? We need to practice too, and our captain is already down there,"he says in a visibly annoyed tone.
Umbridge considers his words carefully. Her hatred for the house of Godrick Gryffindor was pathetically obvious. Not to mention she had already cancelled their practice yesterday for no good reason. Aurora thought it best to not draw anymore attention to this hatred.
"Is that so? Well then, you have no choice but to share the pitch with your classmates then. I will hear no more about this little conundrum,"she giggles yet again as she makes her way through the now extremely annoyed group of gryffindors.
