Chapter 32

"Pass the eggs Ginny,"George asked hungrily.

Ginny rolled her eyes and basically threw the plate of fried eggs at him.

"Where's Rory?,"Fred asked.

"Her and Harry will be down soon,"Ginny said as she sprinkled salt over her breakfast.

Fred's mouth turned downward in confusion.

"Her and Harry? Why?,"he asked.

"Merlin Fred, I don't know. She just said they'd follow us down. They should be here any minute—Look they're here now,"Ginny spat angrily before noticing Aurora and Harry at the door of the Hall.

Auroras gaze was drawn to the large group of Gryffindors that had their eyes locked onto her and Harry. She lifted her hand and shot them a small wave.

On her way down the hall toward their table, Aurora felt another pair of eyes on her. She sat down and began to plate her breakfast casually. She knew exactly who to expect when she turned around casually to pick up a purposely dropped spoon.

After bending down to pick it up they locked eyes.

"Morning"

Aurora closed her eyes as his voice entered her mind. She knew this boy would never side with an evil dictator such as Voldemort. She opened them and shot him a warm smile.

"Good morning"

The grin that graced his features seemed to put all the anxieties she was feeling to rest. She spun back around and began to get herself a bowl of porridge.

Aurora picked up a spoonful of porridge and shoved it into her mouth, she was starving.

"Oh to be a spoonful of porridge"

Aurora let the spoon drop back into the bowl due to the fright she got from his voice. Looking over her shoulder toward the Slytherin table, she gave him a stern glare.

"You alright Rory?,"Fred asked.

Aurora nodded, probably too quickly.

"Yep, absolutely,"she said picking up the spoon again and eating another spoonful.

Meanwhile, at the Slytherin table, Nott couldn't take his eyes off her. She was always attractive, but the events of last night had only enhanced the urges he felt. Not to mention how when she laughed at something the Weaslette said, her smile sent a tingling feeling to his chest.

Relax yourself Theo, Merlin.

He shook off the feeling and returned his attention to his breakfast.

"How did you enjoy the party last night?,"a feminine voice said.

Theo lifted his head to see Daphne Greengrass looking at him from across the table, waiting for an answer.

"It was fine. You?,"he said politely.

Daphne smirked.

"It was fine. I heard Malfoy is still in the hospital wing after the game,"she said, almost as a question.

Theo looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"And?,"he asked.

"Oh, well I just think it was very noble what you did. We all do,"she said, gesturing toward the other girls; Astoria, Pansy, Millicent and a few others.

"I see,"Theo said quietly as he returned to his breakfast.

He didn't realise how they pined over him, despite the fact that they were all with one of the other boys in one way or another. Yet still, when nobody was looking each of them had flirted and tried one after the other.
