Screaming and crying has kept me up every night. I haven't been able to get any work done- Lauren is always working while I'm home with Caitlin.

It's currently 1:27 AM and the girls still aren't home. Caitlin starts crying again from the other side of the room so I get up and walked over to her crib picking her up and walking down to the kitchen. I pull a bottle out of the fridge and put it in the microwave. She continues to cry and all I can do is hold her. I hear the microwave beep so I quickly grab the bottle and shove it in her mouth. She abruptly stops crying and falls back asleep. I sigh, walking into the living room.

I sat down on the couch, propping my feet up on the coffee table. I pull my phone out of my sweatshirt pocket and open Twitter.

"@KaneHayek: day 1957374282 with no sleep. Not sure how much longer I can last."

I continue to scroll through my newsfeed when I hear the door open and laughter fill the empty house. I hear feet making their way up the stairs and then someone kiss my cheek. "Aw when did she fall asleep?"

"Nine and then like 10 minutes ago. How was work?"

"Good, got like three songs done."

Lauren sat down next to me, laying her head on my shoulder and yawning. "I'm not working tomorrow though." I nodded, "That means I am then." She sighed, "Maybe we should both take some time off and go back to Miami." I nodded, "Maybe."
