I laid on the couch of my tour bus, focusing on my phone. Scrolling, favoriting, following, retweeting, you know how it goes.

I started to wonder, how is she? Is she married? Does she have kids? Or is she broke and living pay check to pay check?

I shook away the thoughts and locked my phone, only for it to light up again. I looked at the message preview being shown on my lock screen.

From Lauren; Kane what's wrong?

I slid my finger across the screen and entered my passcode. I opened the message and sent a reply,

To Lauren; look, I'm fine. Just taking some time to think.

From Lauren; A dangerous pass time.

To Lauren; ha ha. Beauty and the Beast? I suppose I'm the beauty, right?

From Lauren; thanks.

To Lauren; anytime babe😘

I once again locked my phone and plugged it in. I sat up and stared across the lonely bus.

You see, usually I have Lauren here with me so it isn't so lonely, but she decided to stay with the girls again for a while, since we've spent so much time together, and that's never good.

I decided to take a small nap before we arrived at the venue for tonight's show. I laid down in the bed and pulled the covers up to my neck. I, almost instantly, fell into a deep and comfortable sleep.

I jumped up when I felt a icy cold liquid pour into my face. I wiped my eyes before opening them. I saw 4 girls surrounding me, smirking. In Dinah's hand though, was a large bowl. "What the fuck Dinah!" They all erupt into a fit of laughter. "You're late dawg." She replied between giggles.

I rolled my eyes before changing into dry clothes and sliding on a pair of sandals. I walk into the lounge to retrieve my phone. I look up at the tiny figure laying on the couch.

"Hey Ally."

I say which causes her head to slowly turn away from her phone. "Oh hey! And by the way, I had nothing to do with that." She said, emphasizing the word 'nothing'. I smile and nod. "Don't sweat it." She nods,

"We're here, by the way, and have to go inside in a couple minutes." I nod, sliding my phone into my pocket. "Well I'm ready now." She smiles and stands up before yelling,

"COME ON GIRLS! LETS GO!"

The other 4 girls run in laughing. Ally rolls her eyes before walking out. Lauren grabs my hand and starts to drag me or of the bus. "Hold on!" I half yell. She looks at me confused and I pull away from her and run to the fridge. I pull out a Gatorade and grab a banana. I slide the Gatorade into the pocket of my sweats.

I grab her hand and we exit the bus. When we get outside, all the girls are standing, waiting, quite impatiently. "About time love birds!" Camila says when she sees us. I ignore her and walk towards the arena. I walk in and, of course, am immediately greeted by Katie. "You're running late and need to go get ready now so you still have time to warm up." I nod and break away from the girls, making my way to my dressing room.

I step inside and ignore the clothes laying on the couch. I go over to my wardrobe and grab a pair of black jeans, plain red v neck shirt, leather jacket, and slide on a pair of black vans.

As I'm putting in my ear piece, a woman walks in the room."Katie wanted me to do your hair." She says as I look at her through the mirror. I nod as she walks over to me. I sit down and she put some kind of hair product my thick black hair. A minute or two later, she leaves and almost instantaneously after she leaves, Katie comes barging in. "Did you warm up?" I shake my head which causes her to roll her eyes. "We'll get going Kane!"

I sigh and start to sing.

I cross my heart and I hope to die

After singing a bit of that song, I move on to the next.

Once I finish warming up, I slowly make my way to the stage. When I get there, the girls are already standing there, talking.

"Hey Kane!" Camila says once she notices me, which causes the rest to turn around. "Hey guys." I say as I walk towards them. I give Lauren a small hug and a kiss on the cheek before saying hi to Ally, Dinah, and Normani.

"Kane."

"Normani."

She rolls her eyes before turning to Ally.

Okay?

What's her problem?
