27- Downhill

-11 Months Later-

Lauren

"What the fuck is your problem? Getting drunk on your daughter's first birthday? What the hell has happened to you!?"

Kane rolled his eyes, walking past me and over to Caitlin who was asleep on the floor. He picked her up, causing her to immediately wake up. "Hey baby!" He said smiling, his words coming out slurred. "Put her down before you drop her." He glares at me, remaining silent. My anger continues to grow as he stumbles around, carrying Caitlin. "Please just put her down before one of you get hurt.."

Her sets her down and walks over to me. He wraps his arms around my waist pulling me towards him. He uses his index finger to lift my head up so I'm looking at his face. He leans in and forcefully smashes his lips onto mine. I pull away saying, "No you're fucking drunk."

He ignores me, slamming me against the wall and connecting our lips again. He roughly moves his hand down, squeezing my butt. "Fuck Kane, knock it off." He looked at me and shook his head. I shoved him off of me causing him to fall back onto the floor. I remained still, looking at him.

He stands up, walking towards me. The next thing I know, there's a loud cracking sound.

And it all went downhill from there.
