Nolan and Marva Lynn were headed to North Wilkesboro for a vacation break as Maura, Laurie, Marty, Dennis, Scott, Tommy, Dave, Wade and Tim and the kids were headed to Grand Canyon in Arizona. Tyler likes to fly a kite, and Tim said it's dangerous.
As Laurie takes off her earrings, Tim sings a lullaby to Tyler. Maura and Marty were watching baseball between the Astros and the Reds. Maura said that Barry Larkin is better than Dave Concepcion.
That same day, Nolan and Marva Lynn headed to the track, Dale Jarrett arrived and Marva Lynn said about being Ned's boy. They also checked on Rusty Wallace, and Marva Lynn looks at Terry Labonte. As the song "I Told You" by Randy Travis was played by a cassette tape, Marva Lynn asked Terry about the kids, and they're okay with it. Terry won the race, and Marva Lynn and Nolan were thrilled.
