Linus was feeding Brendan as he watch the VHS of music videos, one of them is Olivia Newton-John's "Physical," and the tape ruins. Heidi was headed home from the grocery store, she was struck by lightning, and went to the hospital. Nolan and Marva Lynn are raising their great-grandson Brendan until Heidi recovers.
Scott, Tommy, Dave, Wade and Tim were at the mill as Kevin told them about his daughter-in-law's coma.
On May 24, Tanya and Duane graduates from high school. Duane popped the question for Tanya, and she said yes. Linus was still in the hospital as Heidi wakes up. Linus called Kevin on the phone about Heidi's awake, then Nolan and Marva Lynn. All of the family members were supporting Heidi's heath.
