On May 9, Maura was watching the news as Keith Whitley was killed of alcohol poisoning. Maura and Marty were shocking about Keith's death. The song on the music video by Keith was "I'm No Stranger to the Rain." Maura was attending a funeral for Keith a few days later, she was seated next to Larry Stewart of Restless Heart. Maura gives an advice for Keith's wife Lorrie, his adopted daughter Morgan, and his only son Jesse.
Scott, Tommy, Dave, Wade and Tim were upset about Keith's passing as Nolan and Marva Lynn and their dog Juniper strolls near the mill.
Juniper decided to have a dog racing under age 10, and she won the race after eating nutritious foods she ate.
