Maura was hearing the Beach Boys' "Wouldn't It Be Nice" on the record, Larry Boone came by, turns off the record, and he heard Maura's song on TV. When he heard his version of his own song "Beyond the Blue Neon," George Strait had just recorded that song. Marty, Maura's husband came along, and he asked Larry for his advice.
Maura and Larry to Minneapolis for a visit after she had a phone call from Keith Fahnhorst, who is now a stockbroker.
Scott, Tommy, Dave, Wade and Tim were at the mill as Billy Joe Royal's "Tell It Like It Us" was played on the radio.
Keith, Maura and Larry were at the restaurant hearing on the jukebox with a song called "You Got It" by Roy Orbison. She told Larry about his advice as did Keith. Maura loses Roy two months ago. Another song was Larry's "I Just Called to Say Goodbye Again" was also on the jukebox. Maura, Keith and Larry were best friends for life.
