The next morning, Maura was watching the news as Lee Roy Jordan was interviewed about last month's ring of honor. She was headed to Washington D.C. with her brother Kyle. As the song "Killing Time" by Clint Black was played by a cassette tape. As the Cowboys won, Maura and Kyle visit Troy Aikman, the rookie who was #1, as did owner Jerry Jones and coach Jimmy Johnson. The song on the record was "She's Gone Gone Gone" by Glen Campbell. Maura and Kyle also meets Ed "Too Tall" Jones and Tom Rafferty as the song "Slow Nights" also sang by Glen and Mel Tillis.
Nolan asked Linus of being a great-grandfather for the first time as Scott, Tommy, Dave, Wade and Tim were proud to have Linus as a married man.
