Tris's prospective
It's be a month since Tobias almost died and we've been trying to take it easy. It was a late in the afternoon when my cell phone rang. I picked it up - it was Zeke and Uriah.
"Tris! Come to the hospital right now!"
"What-"
"It's Four he was run over by a car!" Zeke yells.
"Hit n' run!" Uriah adds.
My jaw droped open and my heart felt like it was going to fall out of my chest. My boyfriend, Tobias Eaton, is the victom of a hit and run car actsident. I started to cry then I heard his voice, it was weak and frail. he kept telling me was fine and not to worry, the EMT's kept saying things in the backgrowned.
I ran down to my car and drove off to the hosptal. I ran in the frount door and meet Zeke and Uriah.
"he's in sugiry" they say in unisin.
" how bad is his condition?"
"They wont tell us"
"why cant they tell us!?" I yell.
Zeke clamps a hand over my mouth as a medic walks by talking to a docter about a boy who was in a car crash. I walk over to them.
"is the boy you're talking about named Four?" I ask as they both give me a strang look.
"Ye-" one says but gets cut off by the other.
"is your name Tris?" the second one asks.
"Yes I am, how'd you know?"
"I took a guess, he keeps mumbling 'where is Tris?' and 'what happened to Zeke and Uriah?'"
"can I see him?"
"are you his sister or somthing?" one asks.
"No, I'm his girlfriend." I say then they look at each other.
"only his famly can see him now but we will make sure to tell him that you are here."
"Bu-"
"We have somthing called rules here and only his family may see him now" she says rudly.
I run a hand though my hair and feel like crying. how could this happen? then Mr. Black, one of my mom's coliges, walks over to me and the two hopstal workers.
"hello Tris, what brings you here?" he asks as Zeke and Uriah walk over.
" my Boyfriend and thier best friend" I point to Zeke and Uriah " was hit by a car and we're not alowed to see him" I say clearly showing how scared, stressed and nurvise I am in my voice.
"well I guess you could see him since your mother holds one of the highest postions in the hospital." he looks over at the two workers " go check on some of the pationtions, see if they want anything" he said fastly than swiftly turned back to us. The doors slamed open, letting in a cool breaze. Marleen and Lyn walked in. They ran over to us, the panic in their eyes was easy to see but it was not as easy and the panic in mine.
"Are they with you?" Doc. Black asked and I gave him a small nod.
Then he leads us down a million halls that felt like a maze that has no ending.
