The doctor opens the door and holds it open for us. We pile in and I see a ghost-white hospital bed.

"Who is it?" an extremely broken and sad-sounding voice asked.

"People who say they know you," Dr. Black says.

"THANK GOD IT'S YOU AND NOT ONE OF THOSE HORRIBLE NURSES!" The voice says happily.

Dr. Black laughed and I walked to the side of the bed - in it lay Tobias. He looked normal despite a few cuts and bruises here and there. He looked like a mess, but he was more than just a mess.

He reached for me and pulled me from my feet and into his strong arms. He smiled at me, he looked like life had just entered his eyes. He acted like he had become stronger, happier and comfortable when I was in his arms. I never thought that one person could mean so much to another, and most of all that I could matter this much to him.

"Yes, the girl you've been dating for a few months comes before the people you call your brothers!" Uriah and Zeke say as they sit on either side of the bed.

"Well... cuz... um how should I put this. You are annoying and Tris is the most perfect angel in the world," Tobias says.

I blush in response. He just called me perfect. Since when did he ever think I was perfect? Who knows how long he has thought that? All that really matters is that some really thinks that about me!

Tobias smiles and plays with my hair as I rest my head on his chest. I love have my ear pressed to his chest and hearing his heart beat. I dont know why but it clams me. It gives me this feeling of safety and love for some reason. It is thr times like these I love the most, just hearing his heart beating. I just love it and it and there is no way to explain why or how. It is just is.
