Rafe recounts

Was dark. Anywhere I wanted to go was dark. It was a darkness without beginning and without end. Take me some minutes to understand where I am. No, this is a lie, I am not here, it is just a bad dream, no,  not a dream, a nightmare, yes was a nightmare I will wake up soon. Come one Rafe wake up. Wake up. Now!

You are sure it is a nightmare, boy?

This voice. The voice I heard since Kate came back in her time, the voice who tells me in every moment what to do and how to do. This was in the past, I am not here anymore, the Wibberly family won the war, I am free, I am not Dire Magnus.

It's so funny how you try to convince yourself that everything that happens is not real.

I hate this voice.

I didn't know if he would answer me, because now it was quiet. Maybe he wants to think of a good answer.

The voice who talks to me begins to laugh as if I were telling a joke. The laugh was empty and without joy.

I wake up in my bed, I feel the sweating running down my back and my heart beat faster because of fear.

" Kasandra? "

No one is in this room just me. I looked around me searching something familiarly to cling to reality. I was sitting in my bed, I was in my room. Everything seems to be ok. I know this is not just a simple nightmare, it is more than that was real. The door opens and I see Kate who looks at my concern and she approaches hugging me. I let my head on her shoulder and she waited  some minutes, I felt my body relax.

" I have a nightmare." I said to Kate.

" I know. I understand."

I pull away from her hug and look into her eyes.

" Where is Kasandra? Is she ok? When she comes home? "

Kate smiles and plays with my hair.

" She will be home tomorrow. Don't worry."

Easy to say, hard to do.

I want her back, I want to protect her. Kate and I let her stay one more day in Mississippi with Eric. The situation doesn't like me too much, but considering the actual situation Kate and I decided to let her joy just one more day she deserve that and then...then we have to resolve the Dire Magnus problem and don't forget the new villian who appears in a mysterious way. All I hope is that Eric takes care of her, and if he doesn't I will kill him.
