Natasha's POV

A few days after their first time (you know)...

"Hey, y/n?" I asked getting the attention of the y/h/c haired girl who was currently laying on top of me.

"Yeah?" she responded.

"We're a weird couple aren't we?" I chuckled.

"Yeah, but that's what makes us special. Except for what happened at Stark's party."  she laughed.

"Does that count? I mean we weren't technically together then." I said.

"Yeah, but that night was just so weird." she said remembering her actions.

"Probably because you were so drunk." I laughed.

"It was your job to stop me." she said.

"I know but it was just too cute." I said.

Flashback To Stark's Costume Party...

"Y/n come on we're gonna be late!" I yelled for her to hurry up.

"Beauty takes time!" she yelled back.

"It shouldn't when you already look like that." I mumbled.

"What was that?" Y/n asked when she emerged from the bedroom. She was wearing a one-piece bodysuit and a Harry Potter cloak, with fishnets underneath and circle glasses.

Sexy Harry Potter, great. I thought knowing it was going to be even harder to keep my hands off.

"You gonna keep staring or you wanna get going?" she teased.

"Let's go." I said and let her walk out first.

"Wait, we're not taking your motorcycle right?" y/n worried.

"Unless you wanna walk, yeah." I said. "You're not...scared, are you?"

"I don't get scared except when you drive." she explained.

"Then, why don't you drive?" I asked.

"Can I?" she asked.

"I don't know can you?" I teased.

"May I?" she asked annoyed.

"Sure." I said and passed her the keys. Her face was mixed with a shock and excitement. I loved it. While she sat on the bike she basically bounced while waiting for me to sit on the back. When we arrived at the party y/n immediately ran to the bar.

"So, why you guys late?" Tony asked when he approached me.

"Y/n wanted to drive." I said.

"And you let her?" Steve asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"Woah, woah, woah. Who are you and what have you done with Natasha?" Tony asked.

"Oh, come on I'm not that bad." I said.

"I asked to drive one time and you laughed and said "now you can walk" and left me there." Steve asked explained.

"Oh yeah." I said and laughed at the memory. A couple hours went by I kept talking to the guys while keeping a close eye on y/n to make sure she didn't get into too much trouble. At one point I saw her dancing with this guy and they looked like they were flirting and I wanted go over there and say something but I didn't.

Not long after a soft song came on and most people started to scattered but some stayed and swayed to the music. Y/n ran over and dragged me to the dance floor.

"It's our song." she said. It was the song she hummed Everytime she was making breakfast or just being bored. If You Love Her.

I feel like the song had a sentimental meaning to her other than it just being catchy or "our song." But I didn't pry. I just enjoyed swaying to the music with her.

She had her arms wrapped around my neck and head head rested on my chest and we slowly swayed. We didn't have to talk or do anything, this was perfect.

"Hey, Nat?" Y/n asked her voice vibrating against my chest.

"Yeah." I said.

"Do you think I'm a bad person?" she asked.

"What? No, why would you think that?" I asked.

"I don't know, I just feel like you hate me." she said sadly and turned her head to look at me at eye level.

"I don't hate you. I don't think it's possible for me to hate you." I chuckled.

"What do you mean?" she asked, obviously the drinks had started taking affect because otherwise she would have understood that.

"It doesn't matter," I lied. "Just know that there's nothing you could do that would make me hate you."

"Nothing?"

"Nothing."

"Good." she smirked and dragged me into the elevator.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked as we started to walk down the street.

"It's a surprise. I would have taken the hike but I'm drunk and I don't feel like dying today." she answered. "Now the real question is...do you trust me?"

"Do I have a reason not to?" I asked.

"There are hundreds of reasons you shouldn't trust me but my question is: do you?" she smirked.

"I think I'm gonna have to." I said and she started to run faster still dragging me behind her. After a few minutes of running, we arrived at this abandoned bridge.

"Your not gonna kill me and bury my body here, right?" I questioned with a stifled laugh.

"One, I'm too drunk and lazy to do that and two, I wouldn't do that even if I wasn't." she explained. "Now, come with me." she said and dragged me under the broken parts of the bridge.

Inside there were fairy lights that lit up the small area and the wood planks that had many letters and words carved in.

"What is this place?" I asked.

"My safe place." I said.

"Your safe place? Is this where you sneak off to in the middle of the night?" I asked. She looked at me shocked. "Yeah, I know about that."

"I'm sorry." she said and hung her head.

"There's nothing to be sorry for. Sometimes you just need to get away, I get that." I assured her. She just put on a weak smile. "So, what are the carvings for?"

"Representations of my past. Initials and names of past loves and people I love now." she said. I scanned through the names and initials, there was a notebook in the corner hidden beneath a plank and a bit of dirt.

"What's that?" I asked.

"My journal." she said and grabbed it. She blew off the dirt and opened it. "This is where I write my most important things. Like stuff about you."

"Me?" I asked.

"Yeah, like my observations from when we spar and just when funny things happen. Like the other day when you walked into the door because you forgot to open it." she laughed.

"That was pretty funny." I laughed.

"It's just the small things but it's important to me because you're important to me." she smiled and laid her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes.

"You're important to me too." I whispered and put my head on hers. After a few minutes y/n fell asleep and I carried her home. Leaving my bike at Stark's.

That was a bit of a weird chapter but I wanted to give some insight on what happened at Tony's costume party. Anyways, bye bye.
