Natasha POV

When we arrived y/n stumble off my bike as quick as she could pulling the helmet off as she gained balance.

"Are you insane?!" I yelled which made my laugh my ass off. She was bent down with her hands on her knees, evening out her breath to calm herself down.

"What? Come on, that was fun." I laughed.

"Fun? I am a trained assassin and I have never feared for my life as much as I did on that ride!" she exaggerated which only made me laugh harder.

"Maybe you shouldn't say you're a "trained assassin" out loud." I said. She gave me the hardest bitch face imaginable.

"What's so funny?" asked a familiar voice from behind me.

"Oh, hey Tony," I said when I turned around to see who it was. "Hey, Steve."

"Hey, Nat." the boys said is unison.

"Who's this?" Steve asked.

"This is y/n," I introduced. "Y/n this is-"

"Tony Stark and Steve Rodgers. Yeah, I know." she cut me off. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"You too." Steve said and they all shook hands.

"So, what are you guys doing here?" I asked them.

"We wanted to come spend time with our friend. Is that a crime?" Tony asked as he draped an arm around my shoulders.

"No, but I'm busy." I said.

"Doing what? Flirting?" Steve laughed and I gave him a glare.

"No, she's busy trying to kill me." Y/n said.

"I am not!" I said.

"Really? Have either of you been on a motorcycle with her driving?" she asked.

"Oh, yeah. Don't worry, she's a good driver but she likes to scare you on the first ride." Steve explained.

"Yeah, I think it's gonna be a while before I let her drive me somewhere. Also, where are we?" she asked.

"My apartment." I said and walked to the door, unlocking it and holding it open for the three of them to go in.

Y/n cautiously walked in with Steve and Tony following her and me following in after. I guided them up the steps and to the door with the number '13' on the front. I unlocked the door and went in, they followed after.

Y/n POV

Natasha opened her apartment door and lead us inside. I started to panic. The place was a little boring but it was nice. The white walls were clean and filled we neat little shelves that carried a variety of things.

The furniture was a bit old timey but over all it was nice and familiar. That's the part that scared me. It was too familiar, but what really did it was when I got a quick glance of her room. It looked exactly like my dream.

"Hey, you okay?" Natasha asked noticing my panic.

"I have to go." I said and went to run out the door but she blocked me.

"Y/n, what's going on?" she asked.

"Nothing, I just need some air." I said but it didn't convince her.

"Boys, will you excuse us for a minute?" they nodded and she grabbed me by my arm and pulled me into her room closing the door behind us. "Talk."

I didn't say anything, I just studied the room. The window was closed but the sun still shined through the blinds. The queen sized bed in the middle of the room looked like a fluffy white cloud. To the right was the bathroom, but there were no bloodstains. The room was neat and clean.

"Y/n." Natasha said and put her hand on my shoulder. The sudden touch startled me and I jumped a bit, but then relaxed into her touch.

"I told you that I always leave when someone believes in me, right?" she nodded. "I didn't tell you the whole reason on why."

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"The first time someone believed in me was my first year of college. I hadn't started my life as an assassin just yet but I was already trained. I wanted to see if I could put myself on the right track without falling off. I met this guy, everyone called him Bee because he had a fascination with insects. No one really like him though, he was kinda an outcast. A lot like me. We became best friends and after a while a told him everything about me.

"I thought it was only fair since I knew everything about him. See, most people would run when you tell them you had to kill your own mother. But he didn't. He believed that I could be better than what people assumed me to be. One night, one thing lead to another and we ended up having sex. That's when the nightmares started. I dreamed that I slit his throat and watch him bleed out on the floor...I woke up the next morning covered in blood."

"So, you think that sooner or later those nightmares will come true and you leave before they can." Natasha said.

"It's why I mostly stick to poison." I said simply.

"What happened in your last dream?" she asked.

"You don't want to know." I said.

"Yeah, I do that's why I'm asking," she said. "Look, I already know the overall idea and that I'm in it. Just tell me the details and maybe I can help."

"I really don't think this is a good idea." I said but she gave me a look. "Fine. I woke up in your bed, I felt weird because the last thing I remembered was sleeping in the cell. I noticed the window was open and there was a slight breeze. I noticed how neat and clean the room was but there was a spot in front of the bathroom. I got up and walked over to see what it was.

"I started to panic when I realized that it was blood. So, I walked into the bathroom, there was a white carpet and shower curtain stained with blood. I opened the shower curtain and...there was your bloody and bruised body." I explained.

"Well, now I see why you were panicking. Those are some pretty spot on details," she laughed a bit nervously. "But you know you could never beat me in combat."

"Yeah, I've got the back bruises to prove that." I said. Natasha had the power to make someone feel better even in the darkest situations.

"You don't have to worry about hurting me. I trust you. And if worst comes to worst I can take you. I've learned all your weak spots." Natasha explained.

"We should get back out there before they start assuming things or end up having sex on your couch." I said.

"It's really that obvious isn't it?" she asked.

"They glow in sexual tension." I said and we both laughed before walking out the room.
