Chapter 11
Crymsin's POV
“You burned the kitchen?” I asked blankly glancing from the window of the car. He was shocked to see me and he literally went to my direction just to pinch my cheeks. “What!? You should pinch yourself to know if this is real! Not pinch my cheeks!?” I literally said giving him a smack on the head.
“Ahh yeah, Bry! Bring her wheel chair here,” He yelled making Madeline and Brielle turn to his direction seeing me. The two literally ran towards my direction and pushed Jackson away just to hug my head. “That hurts—I swear I'm gonna die with physical injuries and you two are suspects,” The two just rolled their eyes hearing those from Jackson.
“Welcome home, Crim,” I turned to where I heard the voice seeing Jaze with his winter Jacket on and hair down.
“Yeah...I'm home,” I mumbled smiling to him.
“Who's this little guy?” Madeline asked making me turn to Xander who was staring at us with a lost expression.
“Arch's nephew. Go bring my wheel chair to me,” I said pushing Madeline away. She just giggled going away while having this smirk.
“Come on, go back and rest,” I heard Jackson making me turn to their direction.
“I can't. If I rest longer you'll burn the whole house,” I laughed out loud seeing Jackson's expression. “Don't come to her and hit her Jackson—I'll literally castrate you,” Jackson just glared at me being patience after hearing Jaze's order.
“Jackson is henpecked though,” I mumbled hearing his cursing. “No hitting, I'll hit you back! Do you want world war ninety six?” I asked daring Jackson who was really competitive.
“Stop the childish fight. You two are hard headed, childish people who still have hundreds of fights that can't even end in a year. Jackson I swear I'll gonna pinch your ear and Crim, I'll flick your forehead,” I froze onto my place turning away with a pout.
“That flick hurts though—but still I'll eliminate that henpecked brother of mine,” I whispered.
“Jackson—carry her!” Jaze mumbled making me turn to them. “I said Jackson Carry her, her wheel chair is missing and I think she throw it away again after your fight,” I couldn't help but to be embarrass with all the shits that I have done.
“Okay okay, just don't hit me with a broom or kill me or castrate me or pinch my ear cause it hurts as hell,” Jackson mumbled going towards our direction. “Zup man, thanks for driving her home,” He mumbled to Archson.
“It's fine. Xander, go back to granny. Crymsin is going home now,” But instead of seeing Xander going back to Granny Laticia he hugged me tightly burying his face on my shoulders making me turn to all of them in an apologetic look. “Come on, Xan, she needs to go,” Xander just shook his head making me turn to Jackson who was literally worried.
“Would you mind staying for lunch then?” I turned around to see Jaze smiling while holding my wheel chair. “I can see the kid don't want to let go so please be our guest,” Jaze asked again bowing. I heard the backseat's door opened revealing Szapphire there grabbing Jaze.
“I'm in. I'll be glad getting to know this gorgeous,” My face literally turned to Jackson looking so lost like mines.
“Jackson I know we're fine,” I mumbled as I tapped his arm. “You just need to go and get him back later,” I mumbled staring at Szapphire holding onto Jaze's hand. “Uhm I think you should carry me now, Jack. I think you really should,”
“U-Uhm yeah,” He opened the car carrying the both of us—Xander and me—towards my wheel chair. “Follow me inside,” He mumbled pushing my wheel chair. “Jaze is a man though,” I can't help but laugh at Jackson's lost expression.
“But he's gorgeous,” He nodded making me stare at him with a shock expression. He fucking agreed with my statement! “He did!”
As we finally stepped on our mansion's entrance he let go of my wheel chair. I started pushing my wheelchair with my own strength. “Your family is loud but happy, your family is warm right? Ate Crymsin,” I nodded giggling at his words.
I gone pushing my wheel chair on the kitchen seeing Szapphire and Jaze there. “Is Jackson your boyfriend?” Szapphire asked making me stop.
“N-No why?” Those stutters though.
“Well—” I cut Szapphire off.
“Because Jackson is his husband,” I literally mumbled loudly turning around. I could imagine Jaze's red blushing face though. “Xan? Do you want some shake?” I asked as he nodded. He suddenly jumped off my wheelchair pushing it himself. “What are you doing?” I asked him.
“Your hands are trembling, I figured that you are tired of pushing it,”I froze but I immediately shook my head. “I saw your refrigerator so we are going there right?” I nodded as he pushed it towards there.
I opened the refrigerator pulling the cup of shake that I made two days ago and putting vanilla and chocolate flavored chocolates onto it. I pulled a bag of chocolates from it too and closed it when I'm done. “Push my wheel chair towards the couch please,” I asked as he pushed it towards the couch where most of people are in. They we're given slices of cake and tea for the wait and watching a movie for a second.
I turned my body toward the couch and sat there comfortably. “Sit beside me,” I mumbled as Xander sat beside me. He then clinged onto my arm while sipping onto the shake and eating chocolates. “Xan, I have a class tommorow,” I mumbled being honest to him. “You can't be with me forever and I can't stay beside you forever,” I added as he turned to me and after that turned again to the other direction.
“I can be with you...,” He mumbled making me stop from eating. “...forever but you can't be with me that long. It's unfair,” He whispered in a miled tone. “Does world really work that way? Is world unfair,” I can't help but to smile in pure bitterness.
“The world isn't but the people are. Don't blame the world when something bad happened, blame the person who hurt you,” I mumbled closing my eyes. “We just knew each other for a matter of hours, Xan. You can't be attached that easily, are you?” I asked with a shock expression.
“I don't know,” I giggled at his reaction.
“Let me tell you a story then,” I mumbled putting the empty cup of shake onto the floor before lying down on the couch while he was just staring at me. “ 'I've liked a boy mom' 'I've got a perfect score in Math, mom' 'Yes, dad said he will be my prom date' 'Dad, someone bullied me' 'Dad, let's go and rate my dresses for me' ,” I mumbled staring at his hands.
“An angel who had her wings burned who wished to have a normal life from the very beginning. An angel who wished to say those words to her mom and dad but they burned her wings that whenever she tried to speak to them...she could feel herself burning and hurting. They burned her wings when she wanted to fly,” I couldn't help but to close my empty eyes.
“The angel just wanted everything to be normal. Have her life for eternity but they took half of her will to live. Life was unfair for the girl. She couldn't speak to anyone because she knew they'll tell everything to her so called parents. She couldn't move from all the beatings. She wanted to die and end her life but everytime she had the will—even death can't take her away,” I mumbled quietly.
“Darkness ate her. She was slowly dying and being pulled deeper and deeper. Her lovely lively eyes before became empty and lifeless...slowly and slowly. Tell me Xan, Would a broken mirror be repaired and become normal again after it has been broken?” I asked as I opened my eyes looking straight onto his eyes. “Would a skin be suddenly okay after it had been wounded?” I asked as he shook his head.
“No matter how you tried to repair a mirror, there is always a piece that would be gone or missing and cracks onto it. A skin that has been wounded will always have a scar that would remain after it healed,” I nodded smiling.
“The girl escaped from her family and still has the pain that her family gave her. Her smile haven't been back and her eyes are still empty. The world is fair on how it is built Xan. While the girl is suffering everyone is suffering. It might be not as painful as the girl experienced. Still they are suffering,” I said opening my eyes.
“So while my mom and dad we're fighting for their lives—” I pulled his arm towards me and hugged him tightly.
“They died happily having a son like you. They died saving the thing they we're happy living about. They died saving their happiness for others to experience the happiness they had too,” I said giggling. “Let's die contented and happily,” I said tickling him. He laughed out loud telling me to stop but I didn't stop. Instead, I tickled him more.
“Remmeber this Xan, be happy. Don't be materialistic. Treasure everyone that you love. Love everyone that loves you in that way, you'll be contented after experiencing how to love, to be loved, to be thankful, to be thanked at, to treasure and to be treasured,” He then stared at me confusedly. “You'll know what I mean when your older but right now, enjoy being a kid,” I said sitting up and switching my position.
I laid down the couch while my head we're hanging down. “Kuya Jackson! Buy the puppy on the dog foster home near the convenience store for me,” I heard big footsteps coming onto my direction. He stared at me with an eyebrow furrowed.
“It's not even a pup! That thing is a lion!” I can't help but to laugh at my own reaction. “What? You didn't know? You we're petting the thing for three years now and you are telling me all those years you actually thought it's a pup!?” I sat up straight staring at him.
“I-It's a lion? Wait—that thing is still there right?” I asked as he smacked my head with the spatula. “Ow! That hurts,” I mumbled pouting.
“How could a girl that has 200 IQ level not know about him being a lion and not to mention she is petting him for three years,” I gave him my glare.
“How is my IQ related to my pup being a lion in just a second!?” I asked snatching his spatula away from him and smacking his head with it. “Does it hurt? It does right? Jaze! Kuya Jack hit me with your spatula!” I screamed as I heard his footsteps.
“Jaze calm down!” Madeline and Brielle mumbled in unison. A smirk appeared on my lips as I saw how Jaze pinched Jackson's ears and Jackson crying in pain.
“I told you not to bicker anymore! Be matured now!” I can't help but laugh on how Jackson glared at me. “And you—” My laughing face turned into a horrified one when he flicked my forehead.
“Ow! Ow! I won't do it anymore! Stop flicking my forehead. Ow!” But he didn't stop. I can't run because my legs aren't working. “I'm sorry already, my forehead will bleed,” I said as he stopped.
“Bicker again I'll let you two sleep outside the house the whole night,” We both obediently nodded in unison. “Now, will you two start being quiet and behave yourselves? If you don't I'll put cucumbers and vegetables on your whole week meal Crymsin. I'll put balsam apple on your whole week meal, Jackson. Dare me,” He said making us quiet.
“L-Let's just go, Jaze,” Jackson mumbled still rubbing his ears. “Go see your dish if it's already cooked,” He nodded letting him self be pushed by Jackson.
I became quiet for a while but when I saw the two gone, I rolled onto the couch rubbing my forehead. “Why can't I be used from having flicked by Jaze when I can be used by being stabbed,” I whispered. Xander suddenly stopped me from moving and kissed my forehead.
“Granny said when you kiss the wound it'll heal in a second. When I had a wound granny kissed it and the pain was gone too,” I smiled to him and giggled pulling his arms to hug him.
“Thank you, I think it's gone,” I said but literally I'm still screaming from the pain in the inside. “I think I can walk again, Xan,” I mumbled sitting up straight and slowly standing up. “Yeah, I think I can stand—,” And when I was going to do my first step my face literally kissed the floor. “—I just think though,” I literally mumbled getting all lazy to stand up or sit up.
“Crymsin! Stand up now, I think Sir Lester is looking for you,” I literally stood up using my legs running towards the entrance in pure shock and disbelief. “He's on the door,” Madeline mumbled so I opened the door and closed it immediately when I'm outside.
“I thought you weren't here or something. I just want to give you and their acceleration examination. You just need to answer this questions and if you scored more than ninety five then you have passed. I just came here for that...I'll get going,” I nodded as he walked away.
I entered our house again locking the door. “Kuya the exam is here, I'll answer it for you four do you mind?” I asked as they yelled no. “Okay, I just need a minute,” I mumbled grabbing a pen, pencil and eraser from our pencil holder outside.
“You'll answer that all?” I turned to Archson smiling.
“It's a piece of cake for me,” I said as I slumped on the floor being circled by the five test papers with six pages each. I used my left and right hand to write the answers on it while I am thinking for answers for all of it. The questions we're the same that's why it's a piece of cake once I know the answer for the first test paper. “ Algebra is used differently in college huh?”
I only spent fifteen minutes answering it all so I ended up relaxing my body on the floor while my eyes we're opened blankly staring at nowhere. “If I die my body will be buried while my cells are slowly dieing so I'm still alive that time. I'll be eaten alive by those worms,” I stood up running towards my room to change my clothes since it's my clothes when I was stabbed.
I ran going back again with pajamas on. When I saw Xander waiting for me to come I fasten my pace and snatched him away from the air just to make him fly for a second and fall onto the couch. “You alright?” I asked as he blinked multiple times.
“My soul left my body,” He mumbled giggling.
“I'll show you a trick Xan,” I said walking towards the center and laid onto the floor using the front of my body. “You ready?” He hummed making me fold my body into a roll. I pulled my legs onto my head and turned my head to my back.
“Why are you even letting the kid see that? He'll be terrified by—” Bry was cut off when Xan suddenly fell onto his back with tears in his eyes. “—Melantha Crymsin! I told you,” Xander cried out loud making me all guilty.
I stood up bending my body and walking with it. I turned my upper body walking to him. “Sorry, I forgot you are still a kid,” I turned my body normally sitting infront of him. All of them we're trying to calm him down while I was just there staring at him.
I turned around walking away. I saw Kuya Jackson and Jaze on the kitchen cooking while Jackson was just helping out. When they heard or sense someone was there they turned around just to face me. “Am I scary when I'm shifting my body?” I asked as the two stares at each other just to giggle.
“It wasn't because we are used to it. You need it to feel you muscles and bones so it's okay. When your infront of a kid do those in the bathroom or here in the kitchen, kay?” I nodded pulling one of mini milk in a box on the refrigerator and standing up side down using my head. “Stay here when your doing that, I'll give you the privilege to taste my dish first,” He smiled while I nodded continuously only to hear my bones produce a crack sound.
I sipped onto my milk staring at Jackson and Jaze's back. “I might be kidnapped again by them and when those times come. I might or I probably won't be ready to fight or kill them in order to save myself from the worst again and experience those again. My body might break and worst wont take it anymore and give up. I can't kill myself using knife and guns but I might die on drowning myself,” I said in a serious tone.
“ If that time come I just want to tell that I'm thankful and always have been grateful to have you as a family. To experience having someone love me and care for me. You have and always have been been a treasure for me since the day I saw you all. The first time we've met in the rain. Please remember that I'm gonna die having all the happy memories that we had until death. I'm gonna die having those experiences treasured everyday. I'd be happy to see you all happy,” I mumbled sipping onto my milk again.
The two we're just staring at me with their confused, worried, horrified, fearful and warm eyes. “I guess it'll be a good monologue when I died. I will say this words while inside the coffin—and then you all will die because of heart attack and we'll be together—ow!” I was cut of because of the spoon that land onto my forehead. “That hurts,” I said seeing Jaze crying.
“It wasn't funny at all! Don't kid around using those words again,” I can't help but to stare at him and smile warmly.
“Those words weren't a kid, Jaze. It'll always be true except the part where I'll talk and say those on the coffin,” I said smiling. “I'll be going now, I might go to sleep. I'm quite tired of everything—I'm not eating,” I said walking away from the kitchen and walking towards the stairs with a blank expression and a flat look on my face. I pulled my wig away from my head and locked my room.
“In end...I still don't know my purpose of living....I don't want to have one either.”
