Chapter 35
Andrea's POV
“She was never okay...she was repaired like a puppet all the years...”
I could still remember how those words echoed in my head last night. I was waiting for another word for the guy that is on my bed right now but he didn't even open his mouth again and slept comfortably. “Mattew! Wake up and brush your teeth,” I mumbled shaking his body as the guy just turned his back on me hugging the other pillow.
“Five more minutes,” My eyebows furrowed at that making me pull his covers at least.
“Why are you even so comfortable and carefree sleeping on a stranger's home?!” I yelled making him open his eyes and sit up automatically. “W-What?” I fumbled staring at him in shock.
“Good morning, princess,” he mumbled smiling before getting out of the bed and leaving me on the room. “Good morning, Granma,” I heard him say those while I was just still on the room confused.
I decided to just fold all the covers and tidy up the bed before going outside. He was just there sulking while glancing at his phone from time to time making me stare at him confusedly. “Let's eat,” I mumbled quite making them all turn to me.
“Let's go eat, hijo,” Granma asked that to Mattew who immediately came back to his senses.
“T-Thank you,” I didn't mind him much but he's been sulking for quite a while now.
We ate quietly while glancing at Mattew from time to time as he was just eating the fish normally. “Sorry for being rude. I haven't visited Jaze and Jack's restaurant for quite a while now. They sell the same dish, I don't know why,” I froze hearing him say that.
“It's Andrea's recipe,” I turned to Mike immediately as Mattew did the same to me.
“Ahh...so she could remember that,” there it comes again, that knowing look of Mattew. “Ah I just remembered. Archson and Xander will be coming here late. There was an emergency going with the family so they might be late,” he said glancing at me for a second before looking back at Grandma. “Please excuse their intrusion later,”
“I don't mind. You are Andrea—I mean Crymsin's family after all,” I turned to Grandma hearing that.
“Granma...I am Andrea,” I said emphasizing my words as Grandma looked at me straight in my eyes.
“Andi...we all know you are not,” She was gently reminding of the truth that...I myself is slowly accepting.
“Granma...why are you abandoning me all of a sudden...” I whispered looking down. “...I didn't do anything to be abandoned like this right?” I asked. Although I know they we're just slowly accepting the truth, I can't.
“I am not abandoning you, Andrea. I am just trying to accept the truth. You can still visit if you want and we will accept you openly,” Granma said looking at me gently.
“We don't even know if he is really saying the truth though...” I said glancing at Mattew who was just staring on his feet below the table. “...if he could prove that it was the truth then I'll go and try accepting the truth that he is saying,” I said glancing at Mattew who was staring at me the whole time.
