Chapter 40
Archson's POV
“Pa!” I jumped off my seat in shock at the sudden voice behind my back. From the voice I knew it was Xander. “Why are you sulking now?”
“I'm not sulking,” I fumbled looking back at Xander only to see Crymsin. “Crymsi—Andrea...” I blurted out stopping myself from being rude.
“Let's talk,” Crymsin didn't hesitate to mumbled as I blinked still in shock. “This'll not be long so let's talk,” I nodded hesitantly looking back at the others. I knew they we're worried about it so I just nodded giving them some kind of assurance.
“Let's go,” I stood up walking towards the front door as she did too following my steps. I just stopped on my tracks when we reached the back of the rest house. “What do you wanna talk about...” I said looking at her.
I didn't expect seeing her like that...looking so nervous. “I love you...” I unconsciously mumbled freezing her. “...no matter what your decisions are I will accept you,” I said smiling. I didn't really think of those words properly but I was glad she calmed down a bit smiling at me.
“Can I ask you something?” I just nodded crossing my arms before leaning onto the wall. “Why did you fall for me?” The question got me of guard to the point that it woke my whole body up.
“That...” I looked straight onto her eyes smiling. “...I don't know either,” I sighed. She was confused at my answer, everyone else would. “I don't know how I fell for you...I just woke up wishing for your happiness everyday. I woke up praying for your good health and everything,”
“W-What? N-Nothing else?” I nodded looking at my palms.
“Yeah...the time that I fell for you, was the time I was willing to sacrifice my everything just for the sake of your happiness. I was willing to sacrifice my all, for you,” I said smiling as she froze on her place looking down.
She's feeling guilty about something she never did. I hate how she feels guilty for not loving me.
“I want...” I looked at her seeing he slowly look up smiling. “...to remember you,” H-Huh? Did I misheard something. What did she just say just now!?
“W-What?”
“Let me rephrase it. Help me remember everything,”
Third Person's POV
“Where's Archson?" Zachary asked tapping Mattew's back.
“He hasn't been back since the time Crymsin asked for him, why?" Mattew replied still eating his burger. The burger was fried and cooked by his mom so he took the time to eat two to three of them.
“He hasn't drank his medicine yet.” Zachary mumbled worriedly walking away. “If Eri and Avy woke up. Tell them I'm trying to find, Archson." Mattew just nodded still eating.
Zachary then proceeded to look for Archson who he found leaning on Crymsin's shoulder. He wasn't sure about it but he walked slowly towards them trying to know what they we're talking about.
