CHAPTER-12

Sorry I know I said I will update tomorrow but my draft got lost as I have not saved it so I wrote it twice that's why I got late and on top of that I also have school work and they are giving projects.

AFTER 9 MONTHS:-

Avu is in her room, sitting near her window on a comfy chair, tears continuously flowing down her cheeks. She is seeing outside the window, watching the night sky filled with beautiful stars.

She is remembering all the incidents that took place in these months.

Some incidents made her heart flutter with happiness like Reem has come back from her trip from Australia, she met Avu and also came to know about the contract with Sid. Avu had told her how she met Sid, that slap incident then all the revenge stuff and finally how he tortures her. Reem said to Avneet that she can ask her father for Jai's fees of XYZ college of London and break the contract. But Avneet denied her help and said 'we have to fight our own battles'. So Reem at the end let it go, after so many compulsions from Avneet.

Reem used to visit Avneet once a week and they used to talk through video calls almost everyday. They used to bitch about Sid and her co-workers. They used to think of various murder's ways to kill Sid.

She also used to talk to Jai once a month though that was not enough but that used to boost her stamina to face every torture. She was happy that her brother was working hard and achieving good grades.

Since these were happy moments but there were many moments which were very hard and torturous for her.

Like...........

INCIDENT-1

Sid was sitting in dining area having his lunch very happily as it was his favourite dal chawal. While having his food, he asked Avneet for a glass of water. She was handing it to him when accidentally her leg slipped and water was spilled on his plate which spoilt the food. Sid got angry on her and he just left his food and rushed out giving her deadly glares.

From the next day whenever Avneet used to eat, Sid 'accidentaly' used to spill water, juice and alcohol on her food such that at the end spoiling her food. Though he used to say to Avu it was 'not at all intentional' but everyone knew it was not at all what he is saying. Avneet also knew he is taking revenge but she cannot say him anything according to the contract. This continued till 2 weeks. In this time, Avu used to eat in her room hiding from everyone.

While eating she always used to think how she and Jai used to share food, they had little of everything but she lived more peaceful than here. But she used to boost herself thinking of her brother's future.

INCIDENT-1 ENDS

INCIDENT-2:-

One day a vase was broken by Avu in Sid's room. It was very special to him. When Sid came to know about it he threw Avu on the broken pieces of vase and he did not gave her food for two days. She was also locked in her room for one week with only one time meal other than that two days.

INCIDENT-2 ENDS

Till now there were many marks on Avu's body, everyone used to feel disgusted on seeing her, they used to taunt her every time except in front of Sid. Some used to see her with lustful eyes and even tried to force her but somehow she always escaped.

Meeting Reem was only a stress buster for her otherwise she used to die every moment.

She was remembering all the tortures. Somehow all these were tolerable to her. But only one incident, that one incident had broken her fully. She used to cry whole night, she could not sleep as she used to get nightmares, she can only sleep after having sleeping pills. She was having panic attacks. Her face has now become pale, dead and emotionless, there were bags under her eyes. She only used to cry in front of Reem. Reem was the only one who knew about the incident and also about Avu's condition. She didn't speak to anybody if anyone used to taunt her she used to just ignore them showing no emotions. She didn't smiled after that incident. 

SIDDHARTH'S SIDE

Sid also saw change in her behavior. So he decided to ask Reem.

When he asked her Reem, she just said " It's all because of u. U are responsible for Avu's condition for everything, for that bloody incident" with every word she was shouting more at him.

In return Sid replied, "What incident r u talking about and what condition?"

Reem - " I don't want to talk to an asshole like u. Pls leave." 

Sid didn't said anything and just left. He was driving his car while thinking what Reem said

SID'SPOV:-

What she was talking about, which incident and her condition, how am I related to all this? I know I torture her but it's not that she will just change in 2 weeks whereas all 9 months she tolerated me and my torture has also lessened, I am not torturing her from last 2 months, then what happened to her. I remember when I was leaving for Mexico 2 weeks ago she was perfectly fine, smiling and all giving sassy comments to those who taunt her. But when I returned she is completely changed. Her face has become expressionless, her eyes are dead. She is moving like a body without her soul.

Ahh! leave this Sid these two girls are doing this for your attention, so that girl can break loose from the contract. But I will not let that happen. I will not pay any attention to her, then at the end she has to break the act.

Now, leave all this I have to make lots of arrangements for them. They are coming after a whole freaking year. I missed them a lot. They are my only family and the ones where I can show the true me. Yes, now get to work Sid ke bacche.
