AVNEET'S POV:-

Josh - Ak it's Ni..... (gets cuts by the ringing of the phone)

Josh was going to tell me teh name, but this phone has to ring now. Ugh!!

I waved my hand to Josh signalling him to leave, once I saw the caller id. It was 'maa'. Trust me if I will not pick up I don't think my ears will be attached to my body, after I reach home.

With that I picked up my call.

PHONE CONVERSATION:-

Anikka - Hi Princess.

Avu - Hello mom. So why did u called me?

Anikka - Do u remeber Mrs. Khattar, u met her and her son last year, in our annual ball.

Oh God I know where this conversation is going.

Avu - Maa stop right there, and my answer is no.

Anikka - But u even din't hear the question? (she whines)

I know she must be pouting. She is really a child.

Avu - Maa I don't want to get married. I don't want to bound myself in a relationship.

Anikka - But princess we all need a companion in our life.

Avu - Maa I have already told u about my decision, so bye now. (with that she hangs the call)

PHONE CONVERSATION ENDS:-

Ugh! Stupid marriage! Stupid love! Why ca't maa understand I don't want to marry anyone. I don't have power to love anyone again. I was broken once, i cannot afford to get broken again.

Leave all these stupid thoughts Avu, let's get to work.

At 9:00 someone knocked on my door.

Avu - Come in.

In came linda, but she was alone. As fas as I know I called her, Mr. Cal and Brittany, exactly at  9:00. but why thefuck are they late.

Linda - Good morning Ak (Boldly)

Hmm, she is brave. I am kinda liking her.

Avu - Have a seat Linda. 

I gestured her to have a seat.

Avu (interlocking her fingers and leaning forward she looks straight in her eye ) - So Linda, I came to know that u never showed up for tomorrow's meeting, when I have clearly told u that u are responsible for the presentation that was to be presented, which u had prepeared. But u didn't come. So, can u tell me where the hell were u?

Linda - I am sorry Ak, but this is not my fault. Before the presentation, i went to washroom to fix my clothes, but someone hit me with something hard on my head, and injected me with a medicine. So when I woke up, I was still lying on that bathroom floor, and the washroom' doors were locked from outside. Then I called my roommate, and she came with the janitor of our office, who then openedd the door. Ak when I woke meeting was already over 3 hours ago. Pleasebelieve me Ak, I am saying the truth.

Avu - Are u sure Ms. Linda, cause if I come to know u were lying, u will not like the consequences. And If u are saying the truth, that don't worry the person behing this will not be spared.

With that there was another knock on caibn door. I looked towards the clock 9:13. I was clenching and unclenching my fists, cause I hate late commers, and I definitely know who is at hte door.

Avu (gritted) - Come in.

With that my office doors opened and in came....................................

With that I was starting to really doubt myself.

SID'S SIDE:-

SID'S POV:-

After celebrating my angel's birthday, I went to my office, cause I have to go to London for a very important contract. But forst I need to attend a meeting with OBEROI ENTERPRISES, set our terms, and come to mutual agreement and then the contract will be signes by both the CEO"S face to face.

But I have to arrange first everything here, then only I can leave.

After 3 hrs

Ufh! Finally all my work is completed, I need to inform dada that I will be going to London.

PHONE CONVERSATION:-

Abhi - Hello (monotonously)

Oh thank God! Atleast he picked up the call.

Sid - Hello Dada.

Abhi - It's Abhishekh or Mr. Nigam.

Sid (in sad tone) - Oh okay. How Are ...  (cuts him)

Abhi - Why did u call? If it's urgent then tell fast and if it's not then get the fuck off.

Sid (sighing) - I am going to London for a meeting, I will be gone for one week.

Abhi - K. ( And hangsd up the call)

PHONE CONVERSATION ENDS:-

Sighing I kept the phone in my pocket, and leaned back on my chair with thoughts swirling in my mind.

When will dada forgive me? When will dada and di will come back together? When we will be happy family again? But most importantly.

When will I will find my love?

With that thoughts in my mind I slept on the couch in my office.
