CHAPTER - 38

NEXT DAY:-

AVNEET'S POV:-

I was working in my cabin, when I heard a knock.

Avu - Come in.

In came Linda, my assistant. So u all may be confuse but, Josh was my temporary assistant, after I fired Lisa, I made Josh my temporary assistant, I held many interviews for the post, but none of them were suitable for it. At the end I liked Linda, cause she is perfect for it. 

Linda - Ak, the Indian Comapany has arrived and they are waiting in the meeting room.

Avu - K, I am coming.

With that I closed all my files, and locked my cabin, and went towards the meeting room for foreign clients.

I opened the door of the meeting room, and was met with three people in total three people were standing there, I could see faces of the two, but teh third man was facing the window, which showed the wonderful view of the streets of London.

I started to introduce myself and my assistant Linda.

Avu - Good morning! Myself Avneet Kaur Oberoi, CEO of Oberoi Industries, and this is my assistant Ms. Linda Davis.

Though, I was introducing myself to them, I was still watching the third man who was facing away from me. But I don't know why, as I started speaking he became stiff. 

The man was tall, had long legs, silky hair. He was wearing a black suit, which fitted him perfectly, showing his muscles, whivh he hid underneath his clothes, his arms lookes like they were going to pop out soon, by how tight his suit was, he was pure adonis from back. I was sure his face must be handsome as hell.

After I introduced myself the other two introduced them as.

Person 1 - Good Morning! Myself Mr. Raj Dokania, the head of interior designig department.

Person 2 -  Good Morning! Myself Mr. Aaarav Joshi, assistant of our CEO. (then he pointed to third man). He is our company's CEO.

{ Wherever 'he', 'him' is written, she is saying and thinking it as id=f she is even disgusted to speak or think about him, so read in that way}

Then the third man turned around, which left me schocked and anger started bubling inside me. He was smiling like a fool, with his hands in his pocket.

Person 3 -  Good Morning! Myself Mr. Siddhath Nigam, CEO of Nigam Enterprises.

He was introducing himself, but was looking at me, smiling like a fool. After sometime he stepped forwards towards me, but I stepped back. As I did that, a frown made it's way on his face, and I also noticed hurt and longingness in his eyes.

I neglected all those, and cleared my throat, putting on my cold SSO'S specialised expression, and said.

Avu - Let's start the meeting.

With that I made my way to my seat in the meeting room, without once looking at him.

AFTER THREE HOURS:-

This three fucking hours has been the longest, and most stressful hours of my life. I could not concentrate on the meeting, cause he was busy drilling holes at my head.

Avu - The presentation was good, (with that Mr. Dokania and Mr. Joshi started smiling like a fool, but that soon dropped when I uttered my next words) but I will tell u after two days if I liked the idea. So if u may now excuse me.

With that I left the meeting room as fast as possible, cause I cannot bear to be in same room as him now.

As I was on my way to my cabin, a hand grabbed my arm and stopped me.

I turned around and was met with..................

Sorry for short chapter, as I got my first covid vaccine today, so my hand is paning, I cannot write more. 

So, I am going to update tomorrow another chapter.
