CHAPTER - 36

AVNEET'S SIDE:-

AVNEET' S POV:-

Avu (gritted) - Come in.

With that my office doors opened and in came Brittany and Mr. Cal.

With that I was starting to really doubt myself.

U may think why? 

Firstly every place has a dress code. Like when u are in parties u wear heavy gowns, dresses, when in office u wear formals, at home u are in warm cozy casual outfits. But this employee of mine brittany has entered in MY building, in MY cabin, in a bright red shimmery dress, which barely covers her ass. And her face is fully caked with makeup. 

I have nothing against a girl wearing short dresses or anything, but they way she has dressed in not at suituable in an office, it looks like she is going to a night club. 

Ok relax Avneet, maybe I should not judge, control ur temper.

They came in. Mr. Cal had a nervous smile on his face, his suit was also a bit crumbled, his hair was disheveled, and i guess I saw a hickey on his neck. Brittany's lips were little swollen, and her lipstick was smudged a bit. Hmm, so I can guess why they are so late.

They think they can fool me, ME, THE AVNEET KAUR OBEROI. In ur dreams.

Brittany - Oh! Avneet why the hell did u call me? I was working? (while sits on the chair beside Linda, and leaning backwards)

The audacity of this girl. First of all she sat on MY cabin's chair with the permission. And now she called me "AVNEET". It's looks like she wants to see hell.

Brittany - OK! listen if u are mad about me giving the presentation to MR. King, then it's not my fault. This bitch (pointing to linda) didn't come. So u should be grateful to me, and thanking me, that I didn't create bad reputation of the company, rather than.... (Avu cut's her)

I slammed my fist hardly on the table, to which they all flinched.I stood up angrily, with fire blazing in my eyes.

Avu - SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Mr. Cal - A....Ak.. I think u should....

I turned towards him, glaring at him, which immediately shut him up.

Avu - Ms. Brittany, first of all this is MY office and U WORK here. U are my EMPLOYEE, I am UR BOSS. So u have no right to ask me why I called u, If u have problem u can definitely leave my office. Secondly I DARE U to NEVER I mean NEVER EVER call me Avneet. It's AK or Ms. Oberoi or Mam to u. DON'T FUCKING CROSS UR LINE. And Lastly me being grateful to u then forget about it, once I have made the decision that means it MUST happen. I hate disobeying people.

Brittany - So....sor....sorry mam. (with her head hung low)

I didn't bother replying to her.

Avu - Now Ms. Linda here said some things to me. So I will review it further. For now u Ms. Linda  will be suspended for a week. If u are not at fault then I will pay u for this week, but if u are, then u will come to know what will happen to u. 

Now, as for u Ms. Brittany and Mr. Cal u will get 13% of the payment cut from ur this month's salary, as u both were late. As for now u all may go. I will call u when the matter is solved.

(With that they all exited the cabin)

I called my assistant, Josh

PHONE CONVERSATION:-

Avu :- Josh! come in my cabin now. But before that i want u to bring files of Ms. Linda, Ms. Brittany and Mr. Cal's file in my cabin.

Josh :- Yes Ak!

PHONE CONVERSATION ENDS:-

With that I hang up the phone.

Within few minutes, there is a knock on my cabin.

Avu - Come in.

Josh - Here Ak, are the files u said me to bring.

Avu - Hmm. Josh please sit I have to discuss something with u.

Josh - Yes Ak.

Avu - I want u to go to security team and ask them to check if something happened with ms. Linda at the time of meeting with Mr. King near girl's washroom on 13th october. I also want u to hire a pi on Mr. Cal, Ms. Brittany and Ms. Linda. Ok.

Josh - Ok.

Avu - You may now go.

(with that he left the cabin)

FEW DAYS LATER:-

I was in my cabin gazing outside my window, with a hot cup of espresso in hand sipping on it.

A knock disturbed my peaceful time.

Avu - Come in.

Josh - U have to see this it's urgent............. (panick stricken face)

And about not updating for a long time, cause firstly I had exams, so my mom had taken my laptop from me. Secondly after that, every year my whole family gathers for christmas and new year celebration, and trust me I have a HUGE family. So, it get's chaotic with my 32 siblings in total and then their parents, then many grandparents. And lastly, I had no inspiration to update, I didn't know what to write to make the story spice up. But now I have ideas.

Waise I am a single child, the others are my first cousins, but we are close as real brothers and sisters.

And I am going to update tomorrow another chapter.

Those who are asking for update for my other book, "DESTINED OR NOT" it will be on hold till I complete this book. 

This book will be over soon, after all the secrets are revealed.

You suggestions will be cordially welcomed if I like it I will use it and give u the credit for it too in my chapter in which I will use it.
