Avneet then turned to the next page, this was her all time favorite picture, and this moment was the happiest moment of her life.
FLASHBACK:-
Sidneet were sitting on the bench of the Sid's backyard with their hot chocolate cups in their hands and were enjoying the chirping of birds, wind hitting their face, and the sunset. They were sitting in comfortable silence enjoying the view and their hot chocolate.
This silence was broken by Sid.
Sid - Avneet ?
With that Avu turned towards him smiling and nodded indicating him to continue.
Sid - Uh... Woh... um... I... wanted to ask u that........ (Releases a deep breath) Will u go on a ... uh.. um.. date with me?
After saying this he hanged his head low, thinking he was going to get rejected, and how stupid of him was to ask her out, and due to this their friendship will be over. His thoughts were proving right according to him, when he didn't heard any kind of reply from Avneet. He was incoherent words for himself, and saying how stupid he is and he should apologize to her, he was thinking all this in his mind.
But, when he raised his head, he came face to face with a grinning Avneet. His face was full of confusion, which made Avneet laugh out loud. After controlling herself, she answered.
Avu - Yes idiot I would love to go on a date with u.
With that they both hugged each other.
Avu - Ok now tell me when is our date and where?.
Sid - Our date is tomorrow, be ready by 4, and I am not telling u where, just wear something casual. Okay.
With that he left her there, but not before kissing her cheek, with made turned her whole face red at his sweet gesture.
NEXT DAY ( AT 3 P.M )
Avneet and Reem were in Avneet's room. Avneet was pacing in her room, while continuously running her hand in her hair. Reem was just watching her laughing silently, when Avu was calling herself names, and making fun of herself.
When Reem's laughter died down, then at last she decided to help her best friend. So she went towards held her by her shoulder and said.
Reem - Avu . Avu listen to me. Take deep breaths.
Avneet did as she was told to do.
Reem - Ok! Now stop behaving like a mad person. I will help u get ready for your date with bro (She now calls Siddharth bro, brother, etc.. etc..) Now u first go and take a shower, wash your hair, till then I am going to choose a perfect outfit for u, ok.
Avu nodded and did as she was told by Reem. Meanwhile Reem selected a perfect outfit for her, along with something which she gave to Sid when Avu was in the washroom.
After showering Reem straightened Avu's hair and applied some mascara and a strawberry flavored Chapstick. After that she gave Avu a sleeveless white crop-top and black high waisted jeans. She has tied Avu's hair in a ponytail with a middle parting and left few stands which framed her face perfectly. Avu was wearing her favorite white sneakers.
