It was too early to start her stream so she made an early lunch after she made sure her house was safe. Everything was in its place and as it should be. She was eating lunch when there came a knock at the door. Since the attack on her and her aunt, she got in the habit of always locking the doors. She wiped her hands then walked to the door. She figured it was probably Rane but got a shock when she opened the door. There stood Jared with a bag. He seemed just as surprised to see her as she did him.

"You gonna let me in?" He demanded.

"No. You don't belong here." She retorted.

"I came to see ma." He stated, "So move and let me in."

He tried to push his way past her but she wasn't budging.

"Aunt Linda died." Aria simply stated.

"So why are you living in my house?" He asked.

"She left me this house since I was the one taking care of her while she was sick. Get off my property before I call the police." Aria huffed.

He backhanded her, "Lying bitch! Ma wouldn't leave her stuff to a loser like you! I'm going to the police and have you removed from my house."

Her cheek stung from where he'd hit her and she was so shocked at the display she couldn't think straight. She watched as he grabbed his bag and headed out to his beat up old truck. Quickly shutting the door, she went to a mirror and sighed. There would definitely be a bruise on her cheek from where he'd hit her. Explaining what happened to Rane was going to be difficult. He'd no doubt get upset over it. Would most likely want to hunt Jared down and have a "talk" with him. It made her laugh thinking of Rane having this "discussion" with her cousin. Jared was so much smaller than Rane.

Figuring she should be prepared in case Jared returned with the cops, she went to her bedroom to take out the copy of her aunt's will and all the legal documents she had that showed everything was in her name including the house. Her heart began to race when there came another knock at the door. She figured it would be her cousin. She took a deep breath as she opened the door. Rane stood there with a smile. She smiled back as she moved to let him inside. He got a good look at her cheek and asked what had happened. She explained about her cousin finally dropping by, what he'd said, and how he'd left. As she figured, Rane got quite angry at her cousin for hitting her. She promised the law was on her side and there was nothing he could do about it since everything had been put into her aunt's will.

Rane still wanted to talk to her cousin making her shrug. He called for Tig and Chibs making her shake her head at the tall man as he asked them to come over because there was a situation with Wolfie. Chibs was more than happy to help out in anyway he could as he and Tig headed out to their bikes. Tig wondered what was going on that Quinn of all people needed their help. Since the door hadn't been locked back when she let Quinn in, the two bikers were able to just walk straight in and into the living room where the pair were sitting on the couch. Quinn explained the situation including the fact that her cousin had backhanded her leaving a bruise on her cheek. She wasn't proud of it but wasn't prepared for her cousin to actually get violent with her.

It wasn't long after the bikers arrived that there was another knock on the door. She took her papers with her as she went to open the door. Sure enough, there were two officers standing there with her cousin who look like the cat who got the cream. They exchanged pleasantries before they asked her for her version of what happened. One officer noted the bruise to her cheek and asked about it before looking over her shoulder at the three bikers in the foyer. She happily told them everything including how Jared had backhanded her which was where the bruise came from. She explained her aunt had left everything to her in her will and had a copy of the will for proof. She said if they didn't believe her they could go to her aunt's lawyer's office who helped her aunt change her will before she died.

Jared huffed as he stood there with his arms crossed across his chest. Both officers took a look at her paperwork before handing it back to her. The male officer turned to Jared and said that the will was real, the house was Aria's, and he had no claims to anything of his mother's. He was shocked to hear she'd completely taken him out of her will. All for the worthless ass that his cousin was. He seethed as Aria thanked the officers. She was about to shut the door hoping this was the end of dealing with her cousin. He stuck his foot in the door to prevent her from shutting it. Quinn puffed his chest out and prepared for a fight. Aria sighed as she opened the door again.

"This isn't over, bitch." Jared hissed.

"The will says everything is mine. So it is over." She shot back before trying to shut the door a second time.

Once more, he prevented her from doing so. Quinn had enough and stalked over, slammed the door open, and grabbed Jared by his throat. The younger man's eyes widened in shock as he was picked up almost off the ground. Quinn squeezed his throat making him choke for air.

"You listen here you little punk. This house is Aria's because she was kind and helped your mother when she needed help the most. If I hear of or see you around this house again, you'll be dealing with me and my club. Do I make myself clear?" Quinn growled at him.

"I'm not afraid of some biker scum." Jared spat making Tig angry.

The SAA walked over and pulled his gun making Jared's eyes widen again.

"Wolfie here is under our protection. Be afraid of us because we will defend her and protect her even if that means killing you. And believe me, if it comes down to that, no one will ever find where we bury your body." Tig pointed his gun straight at Jared's forehead.

"Fine. I'll leave the fucking loser alone. This house is shit anyways." Jared stated as Quinn let him go.

"You aigh't, lass?" Chibs draped his arm around her shoulder.

"He was always an arrogant, self-serving piece of shit. I just never knew he'd actually get violent." Aria replied.

Quinn and Tig stood in the doorway and watched him get in his truck and leave before they moved and shut the door. The tallest man in the group stalked over to check her over one more time. She told the group she was fine and thanked them for coming over to help with her cousin. Tig just smiled and said it was no problem and that everything he told her cousin was true. She returned his smile as Chibs said he was heading back to the clubhouse. Tig agreed and bid the pair a good afternoon. She still had time before it was time to start her afternoon stream so she walked into the living room and sat down on the couch.

A/N: Think her cousin is going to leave her alone?
