A week went by and Quinn was extremely worried about Wolfie. She was having nightmares every night and they always left her crying which made it harder for her to breathe and clinging to him. Not that he minded her clinging to him. Seeing Quinn sitting outside her office, Gemma finally walked out to see what was going on with the long-haired biker. He confessed what was going on with his 'ol lady making her nod her head at him. She explained it was normal since she'd gone through a traumatic event. It was just her mind's way of dealing with it. She told him to keep reassuring Wolfie she was safe, that they were just dreams, and that the guys who'd done it to her had been taken care of. "I do but she's still having these nightmares. I don't know how to make them stop." he sighed.

She gave him a sad smile fully understanding how Wolfie felt. She'd never told anyone but she, too, had nightmares after Weston had kidnapped her to send a message to the club then brutally assaulted her. She told Quinn it was going to take time for her to psychologically heal from the trauma and the best thing he could do for her was to just be there for her and not let her push him away like she'd done Clay. He nodded still not sure what he could do for her. She told him to take his lunch break and visit with his 'ol lady earning a head nod from the blond. When lunchtime rolled around, he headed straight to the diner to order their lunch before heading home. Once he had their food, he made his way home with his mind on her and how to ease the pain she was feeling.

He walked into the house and straight into the living room to put the bag of food down on the table. She'd put out a message that she wouldn't be streaming for a while which he knew she hated but she also knew she was in no condition to stream at the moment. Wanting to see his 'ol lady, he walked into the kitchen to see if he could find her. His heart dropped out from under him when he found her laying face-first on the floor. He dropped to his knees near her to check her pulse. It was there but it was on the weak side. Quinn panicked and called Gemma instead of the paramedics. He explained what he saw and that she wasn't waking up. She promised to be straight there. When the Matriarch arrived, she found Quinn sitting on the floor cradling her in his arms.

"Ok, baby. Pick her up and put her in the backseat of my car. We'll rush her to St Thomas." Gemma told him.

He stood up, gently picking her up in his arms as he did. She was completely limp in his arms and it worried him about her condition. Gemma had the door to her backseat already open when he walked outside. He gently laid her down then turned to Gemma and told her he'd follow her to the hospital. The pair sped off to the hospital, not bothering with a few stop signs along the way, and parked near the emergency entrance. His pulse was racing his heartbeat as he picked her back up and made his way into the emergency room. Gemma explained what Quinn had explained to her when she arrived at the house. The nurses called for a gurney so they could take her back and take her vitals. They told the pair to have a seat and they'd come and get him when they knew more.

Gemma watched as he paced the room, brows furrowed, and muttering to himself. He was scaring some of the other patrons so Gemma finally told him to sit down next to her. He did as she told him to then rested his elbows on his knees with his head in his hands. There were so many thoughts about what was wrong with her going through his head and nothing was good. It was more than an hour later when a nurse came out and asked him to follow her. He quickly got up and followed her into the triage room. She explained Wolfie had been admitted and was being taken to her room as they talked. He just nodded, heart starting to hammer in his chest, and she told him she would take him up to her room.

He thanked her before they left the triage room and began making their way up several floors to her hospital room. He thanked the nurse as they stood outside her room. He sent a text to Gemma telling her what floor and room she was in before he entered. There was already a blood pressure cuff on her arm, an oximeter on her finger, electrodes on her chest, and an oxygen mask over her face. She wasn't awake as she laid in bed and it terrified him to see her in such a state. He moved the lone chair in the room over to the side of her bed to grab her hand and give it a squeeze. "Lil Bit..." he trailed as he stared at her face. Gemma made it to Wolfie's room as quickly as she could and noted how pale she looked.

"Oh sweetheart. What's going on with you?" Gemma asked as she moved to stand next to Quinn.

"I have no idea what's wrong, Gem." Quinn replied as he continued to stare at her face.

The doctor came in ten minutes later and eyed up the kutte Quinn was wearing before darting his eyes to Gemma. He'd seen the Matriarch in the hospital before and knew her reputation. The doctor looked over Wolfie's chart then took her vitals once more as the nurse came in to help.

"What's wrong with her, doc?" Gemma questioned.

"We've taken her for a few tests. It seems her lungs are full of fluids. She's got a severe case of pneumonia. Most likely from not breathing properly as her broken ribs heal. It would seem she passed out from lack of oxygen. I'm prescribing a strong antibiotic for her and we'll most likely pump some of the liquid out of her lungs to help her breathe easier." The doctor explained making Quinn shake his head and give her hand a squeeze.

"Oh, Lil Bit. I told you about breathing." Quinn sighed.

The doctor left the room with the nurse finishing taking her vitals. She wrote them down in the chart then left the pair alone.

"Why didn't she listen?" Quinn sighed again.

"She's stubborn." Gemma gave his shoulder a squeeze, "Don't worry. They'll get her fixed up and back home quickly."

"She could have some severe problems because of this." He retorted.

"Don't think about those things, sweetheart. Just stay here by her side. She'll want you here when she wakes up." Gemma told him.

The Matriarch promised she'd come back by later and check on Wolfie. Quinn thanked her before she left him alone with his 'ol lady. He shook his head hating she had put herself back in the hospital. Since she was still out, he turned on the TV and turned his attention to it as he sat there. When Gemma returned to the lot, Jax walked over and asked where she'd gone. She explained about the panicked phone call she'd gotten from Quinn and how she'd raced over to their house to see what was going on. Hearing Wolfie had been found on the floor passed out concerned Chibs greatly. Gemma explained how they'd taken her straight to St Thomas and that she had now been admitted. She gave them the room number so if anyone wanted to go visit they could. Chibs expressed his desire to go visit after work. Juice stated he'd go with him.

"Poor Quinn. He's spending all his time in the hospital!" Jax stated making Chibs grunt.

"I wonder what happened that she passed out?" Juice asked.

"It probably has something t' do with her broken ribs and not breathing right. That would be my guess." Chibs offered.

"Poor thing. First all that torture and now she's back in the hospital with more problems." Juice shook his head as Tig and Happy walked over to find out what was going on.

Jax got the pair up to speed on what was going on with Wolfie making Tig shake his head. He'd come to like the young woman. Especially seeing how happy she made his brother. Quinn was much happier and much more relaxed now that he had Wolfie as his 'ol lady. The SAA felt bad for all the shit the poor girl's gone through and now she was back in the hospital. Chibs told the group he and Juice were going to visit her after work so Tig piped up and said he'd join them. Happy didn't see any reason to go since three of his brothers were already going. Jax told the group to let him know how she was doing making Chibs promise.
