"Holy shit," Tris mumbled for the millionth time.

I rolled my eyes at her then checked that Finn's seatbelt was tight. The plane Tyler sent was the same kind that had dropped Isla and Petey off. It was small but luxurious. The white leather seats were large and spacious since there were only four. At the back of the plane was a bench that would have sat two more.

We didn't need it though since it was just the four of us. Well, five if you included baby Emma but she laid snuggly wrapped up in Tris's arms. I still didn't know how she did it. I was exhausted constantly from taking care of Finn on my own. Tris somehow managed to handle Hunter as well as a four-month-old baby all on her own.

"This is pretty exciting, hey Birthday Boy?" I nudged Finn in the seat next to me. He bounced in the oversized seat as he pushed all of the buttons on the arm of his chair. I laughed when the back went flying down, making Finn lay flat on his back with wide eyes.

"I can't wait to see Tyla," he grinned, pretending he had meant to lay back.

My smile tightened but I nodded. I was not ready to see Tyler. Mostly because I had no idea how I was supposed to treat him. For the last two weeks, he and Finn had talked every single day. Which meant that by default, he and I had talked every single day. Usually, it was just a quick hello as I passed the phone to Finn, but it still sent my heart racing. Every once in a while it stretched a little further. It was tantalizing and terrifying all at once. Like adding a few extra questions about how we were or how the show went was breaking rules that we'd never even set.

But now I was about to see him in person. Then what? Did I act like we hadn't screamed and cried to each other over two months ago? We'd been civil over the phone, so the best course of action was to continue that. But then, wouldn't it be weird to act like acquaintances?

"You look like you need a drink," Tris laughed as she shushed Emma to sleep. I grimaced at her and wrinkled my nose. She knew exactly what I was stressed about. Tris was the kind of person that instantly made you feel relaxed. There was no, "Get to know you" small talk with her. We went from introductions to spilling our life secrets in one week.

"Just don't leave me alone once we get there," I said pointedly.

"Deal," Tris grinned. "And if you need to relax, baby cuddles always help."

We got off the plane in Vancouver around noon with several texts from Scotty. First, to let us know he'd sent a car to pick us up, then telling us to come straight to the arena. The Goon Riders show was tonight, but Scotty said they hung out there all day, getting reading for the show and doing press. I agreed quickly since I knew that's what Finn would want to do and it was his special day.

Thankfully, Tris and I had gotten ready for the show already so that we didn't have to bore the boys with hours in the hotel. My hair was smooth over my shoulders and topped with a white ballcap. I didn't know how to dress for a motocross show but I assumed it wasn't fancy. I'd settled on high-waisted boyfriend jeans, a cropped white tank top, and an oversized jean jacket. It was comfortable but also confidence-inducing without looking like I was trying too hard. Even though, I did in fact try very hard.

"Wow, this place is huge," Hunter mumbled under his breath. I smiled down at him as we approached the large arena. Hunter barely let his voice raise above a whisper. A stark contrast from my sometimes obnoxiously loud boy. But they'd both been a good influence on each other. Hunter spoke his thoughts out loud more often, especially when it was just us around him. Finn, on the other hand, had learned to share the spotlight and was incredibly kind to Hunter when he was nervous.
